Hi, I had an ulcer in the past, but now it’s completely clear. I want to gain weight, so can you please confirm if I can take this?

Ulcer has completely healed and there are no present symptoms, so weight gain can be supported. Prefer a balya and agni-deepana approach with easily digestible, nourishing formulations. Start with a mild, natural weight gainer in small quantity and gradually increase as tolerated. Avoid heavy, processed, or irritant supplements. Here is a complete schedule for you to help you in your weight gain journey. Breakfast 8-9.30 am Upma, Poha, Idli, Dosa, Moong Dal Chilla, Vegetable Paratha (Potato paratha once in a while) with a cup of buffalo milk Mid Snack 11-11.30 am 1 fruit which ever you like Lunch 12.30-1.30pm A bowl of Dal A bowl of vegetable Roti Rice 2 tsp of ghee Hi Tea 4 -4.30pm 1 cup of milk with any breakfast item you like. You can have a fruit as well but than avoid milk. Dinner 7.30-8.30 pm 1 bowl of dal 1 bowl of vegetable Roti Rice 2 tsp of ghee ?Things to Avoid? Processed food Oily food Ready to eat food Maida Desserts ??Must do?? Exercise is must Have a fruit after exercise best prefered banana You can replace fruits with boiled eggs Twice a week swimming or running Weight training if possible Surya namaskar daily atleast 10. Start from whatever is possible. Exercise will increase your hunger and you will notice your appetite increasing. ??Medication?? Syp. Draksharishta 3 tsp twice a day before food Tab. When it comes to weight gain (Brimhana therapy) after a digestive injury, the goal is to build mass without reigniting acidity or inflammation. ​ ​In Ayurveda, a healed ulcer indicates that the Pitta Dosha is balanced, but the Agni (digestive fire) may still be sensitive. To gain weight, we use Balya (tonicity) and Brimhana (bulk-promoting) herbs. These must be “Mrudu” (gentle) so they don’t cause a recurrence of internal heat. ​ ​1. Ashwagandhadi Lehyam This is a premier semi-solid jam for weight gain and muscle strength. It is nourishing and generally soothing for the stomach lining. ​Dose: 10 to 15 grams (approximately one tablespoon) twice daily. ​Anupana (Vehicle): Best taken with a cup of warm milk after food. ​2. Draksharishtam Since you have a history of ulcers, this fermented tonic helps improve appetite and digestion without being overly acidic. It acts as a blood purifier and helps in healthy weight gain. ​Dose: 15 to 20 ml twice daily. ​Anupana (Vehicle): Mix with an equal amount of lukewarm water, taken immediately after meals. ​Important Safety Note ​Massive protein shakes or “Mass Gainers” containing high amounts of caffeine or artificial sweeteners, as these can irritate a previously ulcerated stomach. ​ If you feel any burning sensation in the chest or upper abdomen, stop the Lehyam and stick to a diet of ghee, rice, and sweet fruits.
