What is causing my sudden false urge to go and discomfort after meals at 45 during perimenopause? - #54562
This problem started all of sudden about six days ago.i had this false urge to go that didnt go away all day. Next day i woke up fine, but it started right after breakfast. There were a range of alternating sensations like sometimes false urge, something poking in rectal area or weight feeling, something leaking but not actually. Anyways, I switched to mainly eating rice and ghee or khicdi. Then it got better and actually went away. But moment I aeat something heavier, eg, 2 boiled egggs, it all comes back. I always wake up fine. I usually drink warm water then coffee an hour later and everything stays normal, but for any meal iif I deviate from rice or khicdi, it starts coming back.I am around 45 and in perimenopause phase. Also my bowel movements are regular, no change. But I have this feeling of incomplete evacuation. It goes away in five ten minutes after.

Your symptoms suggest Apana Vata disturbance with mild Grahani / early Amlapitta involvement (functional rectal irritation, not structural since bowel is regular and symptoms come after food). Short Ayurvedic treatment: Kutajghan Vati 1 tablet, twice daily after food with warm water Hingvashtak Churna ½ teaspoon with first bite of food, twice daily Avipattikar Churna ½ teaspoon at night with warm water Triphala Guggulu 1 tablet at night after food If rectal heaviness/urge persists: Jatyadi Taila local application (few drops before sleep) Diet Continue light diet (khichdi, rice, ghee) for few days Avoid eggs, heavy, spicy, fermented food temporarily Take warm water, small frequent meals
