Vaaz

2 answers

Lately, I’ve been dealing with hair fall and came across the term vaaz in a discussion about Ayurvedic remedies. From what I understand, vaaz might be a traditional herb or practice related to hair care, but I can’t find much information about it. Does anyone know what exactly vaaz is and how it’s used? Is vaaz a type of oil, powder, or herb? Some people mentioned it’s good for nourishing the scalp and promoting hair growth, but I’m not sure how to apply it or if it’s suitable for all hair types. Can vaaz also help with dandruff and dryness, or is it just for strengthening hair roots? If you’ve used vaaz for hair care, please share how you incorporated it into your routine. Does it need to be combined with other oils like coconut or sesame, or can it be used on its own? I’d also love to know if vaaz is available in stores or if it’s something you have to prepare at home.

seems there might be a mix-up or a regional term being referred to as "vaaz." In Ayurveda, "vaaz" isn't a commonly recognized term related to hair care. However, it might be a local or traditional name for a specific herb or practice. Based on common Ayurvedic hair remedies, here’s what might relate: Potential Hair Care References in Ayurveda: Bhringraj: Known as the "King of Hair," it strengthens roots, promotes growth, and reduces hair fall. Amla (Indian Gooseberry): Nourishes the scalp, prevents dandruff, and adds shine. Neem: Effective for dandruff and scalp infections. Coconut Oil or Sesame Oil: Often used as a base for herbal infusions. How to Use These Remedies: Oil Application: Mix herbs like Bhringraj or Amla with coconut/sesame oil and massage the scalp. Leave it overnight or for at least 30 minutes before washing. Herbal Masks: Combine Amla or Neem powders with water or yogurt to make a scalp mask. Infused Oils: If vaaz refers to a specific herb, it could be infused into oil for similar use. If "vaaz" is a localized term, it’s best to confirm its exact meaning or herb name with someone knowledgeable in regional traditions. If available in stores, it’s likely sold as oil, powder, or in combination with other Ayurvedic products. Always ensure the product matches your hair type and needs.

What Are the Best Ringworm Treatments, and How Can You Prevent Recurrence?

I recently noticed a red, itchy, circular rash on my skin, and after some research, I realized it could be ringworm. From what I understand, ringworm is a fungal infection, not an actual worm, but what exactly causes it, and how does it spread? I read that ringworm can appear on the scalp, feet (athlete’s foot), or groin (jock itch), and it spreads through skin contact, infected clothing, and pets. But what are the best ringworm treatments, and how long does it take for the infection to clear? One thing that concerns me is that ringworm can keep coming back, especially in warm and humid climates. What are the best ways to prevent ringworm recurrence, and does diet play a role in fungal infections? Are there any natural or Ayurvedic remedies that can help treat ringworm? I’ve heard that Neem, Aloe Vera, and Apple Cider Vinegar are effective in killing fungal infections—do these actually work? If anyone has had ringworm, what treatments helped you recover the fastest? Did home remedies or antifungal medications work best?

Ringworm is caused by a fungal infection known as dermatophytes, which thrive in warm, moist environments. It can spread through direct skin-to-skin contact, contaminated surfaces, or animals, especially pets. The infection typically causes a red, itchy, circular rash. To treat ringworm, antifungal medications, either topical or oral, are commonly used and usually work within 2 to 4 weeks. Prevention involves keeping the skin clean and dry, avoiding sharing personal items, and using antifungal powders in humid climates. Ayurvedic remedies like Neem, Aloe Vera, and Apple Cider Vinegar can help with their antifungal properties, though they may not be as potent as pharmaceutical treatments. Neem, in particular, has strong antibacterial and antifungal properties and can be applied topically to help soothe the skin and kill the fungus. Maintaining good hygiene, improving immunity, and avoiding factors that favor fungal growth are essential for preventing recurrence.

Skin Tags and hair fall

Hi , My age is 42 and have lot of skin tags on face near eyes neck and other parts of body please let me know a medicine to remove this. I am also facing hair loss and dandruff issu. I don’t have BP or sugar I drink atleast 3-4 liters of water a day and have food prepared in house only

For your skin tags, hair loss, and dandruff issues, Ayurveda offers natural remedies that focus on detoxification, improving circulation, and nourishing the skin and hair. For skin tags, applying apple cider vinegar or tea tree oil (diluted) to the affected areas can gradually help reduce their size. Neem and turmeric have antimicrobial and anti-inflammatory properties that can help with skin health. For hair loss and dandruff, a mixture of bhringraj oil, amla oil, and neem oil can be massaged into the scalp to nourish the hair follicles and reduce dandruff. Internally, taking Triphala can help detoxify the body and support healthy skin, while ashwagandha can reduce stress, which may contribute to hair loss. A diet rich in vitamins and minerals (especially vitamin E, biotin, and zinc) from whole foods like leafy greens, nuts, and seeds can further support hair health. For overall wellness, continue drinking plenty of water, and aim for a balanced, stress-free lifestyle.

I am 59 female, lost almost 10 kg weight in the last 2 years also have hair shedding & told on 3rd level baldness . Using minoxidil. What to do. I have quit hair dye also. Use Aragon, coconut, rosemary oil.

Losing 10 kg in 2 years along with severe hair shedding suggests nutritional deficiencies, hormonal imbalance, or underlying health conditions (such as thyroid issues or anemia). Since you’re using Minoxidil, it’s great for hair regrowth, but you need internal support (diet, supplements, and scalp care) to see better results.

Eczema Treatment

Since about three months ago, I've been dealing with some persistent skin issues that have gradually worsened. I first noticed red, itchy patches appearing on my arms and legs, and over time they began to spread and cause discomfort in other areas of my body. I suspect it might be eczema, as the itching and occasional burning sensation really interfere with my daily activities. Initially, I tried over-the-counter creams and even a couple of home remedies, but nothing seemed to work long-term. Recently, I experimented with an Ayurvedic approach by using natural herbs and oil massages recommended by a friend, but the improvements were only temporary. Now I'm wondering if a more holistic and personalized Ayurvedic treatment plan might offer a lasting solution. I’m particularly interested in understanding which herbs or dietary changes could help manage the symptoms more effectively. Can you please share any insights on how to treat eczema naturally using Ayurvedic principles? I’d appreciate your advice on treatment adjustments and any additional therapies that might suit my condition.

Eczema is a skin disorder which occurs because of Doshas imbalance and toxins accumulation in the body...that can balance with diet and medicine but it will take time...but with the help of panchkarma thereby you will get a faster result...this is the best ऋतु (time) for vaman ...it will remove all the toxins and imbalanced doshas from the body...after that you can take medicine to maintain the result...

My areas of specialization include digestive disorders, skin conditions, joint and musculoskeletal issues, and infertility. I am deeply committed to treating each patient with a personalized and root-cause-oriented approach, using classical Ayurvedic methods that align with their prakruti (individual constitution) and health goals. My practice centers around the belief that true healing requires a balance of body, mind, and spirit. Through Panchakarma therapies—Ayurveda’s renowned detox and rejuvenation treatments—I’ve helped individuals overcome chronic imbalances, manage stress-related disorders, and regain vitality. I design each treatment plan by combining herbal medicine, therapeutic detox, customized dietary guidance, and easy-to-follow lifestyle changes that can be integrated naturally into daily life. What makes my approach unique is the blend of traditional Ayurvedic knowledge with a modern understanding of health challenges. Whether it’s managing gut health, addressing hormonal imbalance, resolving chronic skin issues like eczema and psoriasis, or improving reproductive health, I focus on long-term wellness rather than short-term symptom relief. In addition to clinical work, I’ve conducted research on depression, exploring how Ayurvedic tools—such as sattvic diet, herbs, medhya rasayanas (nootropic formulations), and mind-body practices—can play a vital role in supporting emotional and psychological well-being. This has strengthened my belief that Ayurveda offers not just physical healing, but emotional resilience and spiritual growth as well. As a practitioner, my goal is to make Ayurveda practical, accessible, and results-driven. I strive to empower every patient to become an active participant in their healing journey, guiding them step by step toward balance, clarity, and sustainable health.
