For the past few years, my blood pressure has been slowly creeping up, and now it’s consistently around 150/95. I’m in my early 40s, not overweight, and I try to stay active, but my stress levels are through the roof due to work. My doctor prescribed BP medication, but I really want to avoid long-term dependence on allopathic drugs. I started researching Ayurvedic medicine for hypertension, and it seems like Ayurveda focuses on balancing Pitta and Vata doshas, improving circulation, and reducing stress naturally. I read that herbs like Sarpagandha, Arjuna, Brahmi, and Jatamansi are commonly used in Ayurvedic medicine for hypertension to lower blood pressure naturally.
