HELLO,

Diabetes is a condition where your body cannot use sugar (glucose)properly. This leads to high sugar levels in the blood. overtime, this high sugar can harm small blood vessels in many organs- especially the kidneys, eyes, and nerves

In Ayurveda, this condition is called madhumeha, one of the prameha diseases. it occurs when kapha and vata doshas get imbalanced and meda (fat) and mamsa (muscle tissues) become weak, allowing sugar to pass into urine

HOW DIABETES AFFECTS THE KIENDYS The kidney filters waste from blood, when blood sugar stays for years -the filtering units (nephrons) get damaged -proteins start leaking into urine -gradually, kidney function slows down (diabetic neuropathy)

You’ve had diabetes for more than 10 years, which makes kidney care very important, eve if you dont have symptoms now

EARLY KIDNEY PROTECTION IS KEY -If managed early- through diet, proper sugar control and herbal medications- kidney damage can be prevented or slowed

Hello I completely understand your concern — it’s excellent that your blood sugar levels are improving, but monitoring kidney health is very important, especially after long-standing diabetes. But don’t worry we are here to help you out😊

✅ ABOUT STOP DIABEIC TABLET

If your Stop Diabeic formulation is a herbal combination (often containing Gudmar, Karela, Jamun, Vijaysar, Methi, etc.)

✅ Benefits:

Supports pancreatic function naturally. Improves insulin sensitivity. Reduces glycation and improves microcirculation. Many ingredients are hepatoprotective and nephroprotective (protect the liver and kidneys).

Precaution

When combined with allopathic sugar medicines, blood glucose may drop too rapidly — monitor regularly. Always review kidney function every 3–6 months. Ensure proper hydration and avoid high-protein diets.

✅RECOMMENDED TESTS & MONITORING

To ensure both sugar control and kidney protection, please repeat these tests every 3–6 months:

1. Blood Sugar Profile: Fasting Blood Sugar (FBS) Postprandial Blood Sugar (PPBS) HbA1c 2. Kidney Function Tests (KFT): 3. Urine Routine 4. Lipid Profile

If it has been done in recent times you can just mention the values so that we can plan treatment accordingly If not done pls do it as early as possible

✅ AYURVEDIC MANAGEMENT PLAN

✅ INTERNAL MEDICATION

1. Chandraprabha Vati – 1 tablet twice daily after food ( improves kidney filtration & urinary flow.)

2. Gokshuradi Guggulu – 1 tablet twice daily after food Clears urinary channels, enhances circulation to kidneys.

✅ DIET & LIFESTYLE MODIFICATION

✅ Include:

Warm, freshly cooked light meals. Moong dal soup, lauki (bottle gourd), ridge gourd, pumpkin, beetroot. Drink lukewarm water with turmeric + cumin seeds. Use a small amount of cow ghee daily. Barley or horse gram water once daily.

❌ Avoid

Deep-fried, sour, spicy, or fermented food. Red meat, excess milk, curd, and cheese. Alcohol, refined sugar, and bakery items. Overeating or long fasting.

✅ LIFESTYLE MODIFICATION

Gentle yoga (Pawanmuktasana, Ardha Matsyendrasana, Vajrasana after meals). Pranayama: Anulom Vilom, Bhramari, and Sheetali for calming metabolism. Sleep before 10 p.m. and wake up early. Manage stress — avoid overthinking and irregular meal times.

By consistently following the right herbal combination, diet, and lifestyle, your blood sugar and kidney health can remain in balance for the long term.

Wishing you a good health😊

Warm regards, Dr Snehal Vidhate

Stop Diabeic is an Ayurvedic formulation generally made from herbs like Gunnar karela Jami. Methi and Vijaya This ingredient, self blood, sugar naturally, and in normal doses do not harm the kidneys. In fact when sugar levels are well controlled, kidney function, usually improves. However, if the tablet contains metallic bus mass, or if you are taking other medication, long-term unsupervised, use the kidneys slightly To stay safe keep your self just well hydrated avoid overdose and do a kidney function test every 2 to 3 months if you’re using it continuously

Hello JI,

I’m glad to hear your blood sugar levels have improved after taking Stop Diabetic tablet for the past 10 days. Let’s discuss this clearly and safely.

This formulation is an Ayurvedic combination designed to help regulate blood sugar by improving pancreatic function and enhancing glucose metabolism.

Most such preparations contain herbs like Gymnema (Gurmar), Jamun, Karela, Methi, and Shilajit, all known for their blood sugar–lowering and metabolic-balancing effects.

Now to your question about its effect on kidney function When taken in the correct dose and under supervision, Stop Diabetic tablet does not harm the kidneys. In fact, many of its ingredients, like Gokshura and Shilajit, help in supporting urinary function and reducing the burden on the kidneys by improving overall metabolism.

However, because you’ve had diabetes for more than 10 years, your kidneys are naturally at higher risk of strain due to long-term high blood sugar levels. So, even though the medicine itself is generally safe, monitoring your kidney function regularly is very important.

Here’s what I’d advise,

1. Continue your tablet as prescribed, but do not exceed the suggested dose (usually 1 tablet twice daily after food with warm water).

2. Every 3–6 months, check:

Serum Creatinine Blood Urea eGFR (Kidney filtration rate) Urine Albumin (to detect early changes)

These tests will confirm that your kidneys are functioning well while you continue the medicine.

3. Supportive care:

Drink water in small, regular sips (avoid over-hydration). Include boiled barley water once daily (if sugar is stable). Avoid excessive use of painkillers, high-salt foods, and processed snacks. Maintain steady blood sugar — this is the most protective measure for your kidneys.

Please don’t worry. Stop Diabetic tablet is not known to damage the kidneys when taken properly. Just keep your follow-up blood tests up to date and maintain a balanced vegetarian diet with good hydration.

If you notice any symptoms like swelling of the feet, puffiness around the eyes, or decreased urine output, get a kidney profile checked immediately. Otherwise, you can safely continue the medicine under guidance.

Warm regards, Dr. Karthika

Stop Diabeic tablets are generally considered safe for kidney function when used appropriately, especially if blood sugar is well-controlled and no kidney symptoms are present. However, long-term use should be monitored with periodic kidney function tests.

✅ What You Can Do Now - Continue Stop Diabeic if blood sugar is improving and no side effects are present. - Schedule a kidney function test every 6 months. - Maintain hydration and avoid excess protein or salt. - Consider adding Punarnava Mandur (1 tab twice daily) for kidney support, with warm water after meals.

🍽️ Diet & Lifestyle Tips for Kidney and Sugar Balance - Low glycemic index foods: millets, barley, green vegetables - Hydration: 2–3 liters of water daily - Avoid: packaged snacks, excess salt, and sugary fruits - Yoga & Pranayama: daily 30 minutes for circulation and metabolism

Regarding the impact of modern diabetic medication on kidney function, it’s crucial to consider your overall health status, particularly if there’s an pre-existing kidney condition. Most diabetic medications are prescribed with consideration of one’s renal function. If you’re taking a particular medication which is proving effective in lowering your blood sugar, but you’re concerned about its effect on kidneys, it’s wise to get a renal function test done to see any changes.

Ayurveda offers an integrated view of balancing blood sugar levels while supporting kidney health. Observing a prakriti that’s dominantly Kapha is often prone to imbalances that can lead to disorders like diabetes. Managing your diet by reducing excess sweet, sour, and salty foods which aggravate Kapha can be beneficial. Focus on foods that are bitter, astringent, and pungent. Incorporating foods like gourds - ash gourd, bitter gourd - and spices like turmeric benefit in maintaining balanced sugar levels and possibly supporting kidney health.

A cornerstone of Ayurvedic recommendation is maintaining a strong agni, or digestive fire. By aligning meal timings, prioritizing freshly cooked warm foods, and ensuring proper hydration, you can support metabolic processes effectively. Consider integrating herbs like Guduchi (Tinospora cordifolia) which supports immunity and Amla (Indian Gooseberry) known for its rejuvenating and anti-diabetic properties.

For supporting renal health, herbs such as Punarnava (Boerhavia diffusa) may be helpful in maintaining kidney function. Before making any changes, particularly switching or supplementing your existing regimen with Ayurveda, consult with your healthcare provider to ensure safety and compatibility, especially regarding potential interactions with any ongoing allopathic treatment.
