Hello‍‌‍‍‌‍‌‍‍‌ Rashmi ji, Thank you for sharing your concerns. I honestly empathize with your situation when I hear that the liver enzymes remain high after numerous repeated treatments. But don’t be worried with us here for you. 😊

✅AYURVEDIC PLAN OF TREATMENT

✔️ Recommended — Mridu Basti (Most Important) Basti is the most Vata-pitta balancing therapy for a liver condition that is Vata-predominant.

This will: –Revitalize Agni –Relieve abdominal pain –Lessen liver inflammation –Normalize Vata-Pitta balance –Improve nutrient assimilation → improves urea/BUN naturally

👉 Yes, Basti is definitely able to provide you major support. It is specially made for your type of constitution and hence safe.

✅INTERNAL MEDICATION

I will prepare a Pitta-friendly, Vata-balancing liver plan that is free from side effects like vomiting.

👉 For Liver Healing 1.Drakshasava – 15 mL + equal water after lunch & dinner 2.Punarnava Mandoor – 1 tab twice daily after food 3.Arogyavardhini Vati (low dose) – 1 tab after lunch only (safe in a small dose; helps SGPT/SGOT) 4.Shivakshara Pachana Churna – ¼ tsp. with warm water after meals 5.Amalaki Rasayana – 1 tsp at bedtime

These herbs are gentle and well tolerated by Pitta-sensitive patients

✅DIET AND LIFESTYLE MODIFICATION

✔️Foods that heal your liver: Rice (soft cooked) Moong dal / moong khichdi Cow ghee (1–2 tsp/day) Pomegranate, soaked raisins Coconut water Bottle gourd, pumpkin, beetroot Warm water with 4–5 drops of lemon once daily

❌Avoid strictly:

Coffee Fermented foods Too much sour, bitter, or spicy Heavy proteins (until Agni gets better) At night: curd, fried foods

✔️Daily routine Warm water sipping 20–25 min slow evening walk Early dinner by 7–8 PM Abhyanga with sesame + coconut oil (mixed)

✅When Will You See Improvement?

SGOT/SGPT start coming down in 4–6 weeks Abdominal pain diminishes in 10–15 days Agni improves gradually within 30 days Long-term improvement with Basti course + medicines for 3 month

Yes, your liver condition is reversible. Considering your case, Basti would be the safest and most effective way for you. They are not needed, strong bitter liver medicines will only aggravate your Pitta.

Just the right Vata-pacifying Basti + Shamana herbs will give you that permanent relief you have been seeking.

May you be blessed with good health😊

Warm regards, Dr Snehal ‍‌‍‍‌‍‌‍‍‌Vidhate

Hello… From what you have described High SGOT/SGPT ratio, low urea and BUN vomiting with strong decoction(satva kalpa kwath) long-term Vata aggravation, and no improvement with common liver. Tonic shows that liver is not just weak but highly sensitive and unable to tolerate strong medicines right now this is why liv53 type medicines sarvakalpa kwath and other hot or Pant formulation made things worse instead of better When? Vata is high, the liver becomes irritated over reactive and unable to process her that Ortho strong your system needs something gentle, cooling, healing, and not. Something that cleanses hard. You do not need strong shodhana you need soothing Raayanna for the liver

In case the best results come from medicines that prepare liver cells quietly without irritating the gut or causing vomiting. The first option I recommend is Arogyavardini vati -but take in a very small dose, one tablet after lunch for the first week, then one tablet after lunch and dinner from the second week Yasthimadhu churna 1/4 th teaspoon with warm water in the morning … it calms liver. ko stomach reduces information and makes Arogya Vardhini easier to tolerate. Include 1 teaspoon of cow ghee in our diet Take Avipattikara churna half teaspoon before lunch Drink coriander fennel tea Avoid dry food, cold food tea on an empty stomach, too much fasting, spicy or oily food Eat easily digested food, rice, moong dal, vegetables, coconut water, roasted cumin, water and small frequent meals This will stabilise vata significantly with then reduce liver irritation.

hello!

When SGOT–SGPT remain high for many months, it usually means the liver is inflamed, but also the digestion is weak. In high Vata conditions, the liver becomes dry, reactive, and sensitive, so bitter, heavy, or strong herbal medicines (like Sarvakalpa kwath) can cause nausea or vomiting.

So the first step is not strong liver medicines. The first step is Vata pacification + gentle detox + then liver support. When we prepare your digestion first, the liver medicines start working properly.

Ayurvedic Treatment :

Start in this order. Do NOT take everything at once.

1. Ama Pachana (First 7 days)

This prepares your digestion so your liver can tolerate medicines.

Amapachana Vati – 2 tablets twice daily after food for 7 days Warm water only throughout the day

This is VERY important in your case.

Sukumara Ghrita – 1 teaspoon with warm water first thing in the morning Hingvastak Churna – ¼ teaspoon with food twice daily

This will stop vomiting tendency, reduce abdominal pain, and calm your stomach.

Start only after 2–3 weeks of the above.

Punarnavadi Kashayam Tablet – 1 tablet twice daily after meals Bhumyamalaki Churna – ½ teaspoon with warm water at night Arogyavardhini Vati – 1 tablet once daily after food

This combination is gentle, Vata-friendly, and effective for reducing SGOT, SGPT.

Diet :

Eat warm, soft, Vata-Settling foods: Khichdi Moong dal soup Cooked vegetables 1 teaspoon ghee daily

Avoid: Raw salads Cold drinks Excess bitter herbs Spicy/oily food Tea/coffee more than once

Investigations Needed

Please check: SGOT, SGPT, ALP, GGT Bilirubin (direct/indirect) Viral markers (HBsAg, HCV) Thyroid profile Vitamin D Ultrasound abdomen

Sometimes low urea/BUN happens in poor nutrition or low muscle mass, not just liver issues.

You’re not beyond help. You simply need a Vata-friendly, gentle approach, not strong kwaths that worsen vomiting. Once your digestion calms down, your liver will start responding beautifully. People with the same pattern (high SGOT/SGPT + high Vata + low BUN) often recover well when the treatment is done in THIS order.

I’m here with you through every step just let me know the last SGOT–SGPT report and I will fine-tune the plan.

Warm regards, Dr. Karthika

Ayurveda sees this as -Liver (yakrit) dusti + mandagni (weak digestion) + vata-pitta imbalance

TREATMENT GOALS -calm vata + pitta -improve digestive powder gently -support liver regeneration -strengthen your liver permanently

Given the complexity of liver concerns and high Vata dosha, Ayurveda can provide a comprehensive approach tailored to your needs. Combining dietary modifications, lifestyle changes, and herbal support can help balance your doshas and promote liver health. Here’s a possible approach for your situation:

Firstly, focus on Vata balancing diet. Emphasize warm, cooked meals that are easy to digest and include foods like rice, wheat, oats, dairy products if tolerated, spices like cumin, ginger and fennel. Avoid raw, cold, dry, and overly processed foods which can aggravate Vata. Make sure your meals are regular, perhaps small but frequent throughout the day, to help stabilize your digestion.

In terms of herbal remedies, instead of those you’ve already tried and didn’t work, you could consider Guduchi (Tinospora cordifolia) which is highly valued in Ayurveda for its liver-protective properties. Brahmi (Bacopa monnieri) might also be useful, as it’s known to calm Vata and support the nervous system. However, it’s crucial to consult with a qualified Ayurvedic practitioner before starting any new herbs to ensure they are appropriate for your specific condition.

Additionally, lifestyle adjustments such as adding daily routines that ground Vata, are helpful. Try establishing a consistent sleep schedule, going to bed by 10 PM and awakening by 6 AM. Gentle yoga or Pranayama (breathing exercises) can be beneficial for reducing stress, which often exacerbates Vata imbalances.

It’s critical to assess your specific triggers and reduce stress, engage in activities that bring you joy and relaxation, like moderate exercise or meditation, which also aid liver function and help balance Vata.

Finally, I would recommend seeking an experienced Ayurvedic physician for a thorough evaluation, as personalized treatment is key to addressing complex issues like yours. If your symptoms worsen or there’s any concern about your health, please seek urgent care from a healthcare provider.

To address liver issues with high SGOT and SGPT levels, especially when treatments like Liv52 or others haven’t helped, let’s focus on understanding the root causes from the Siddha-Ayurvedic perspective, considering your high vata condition. It’s essential to address your digestion and liver health through multiple angles, including diet, lifestyle, and specific remedies.

Firstly, ensure your diet is supportive of balancing vata. Focus on warm, cooked foods that are easy to digest. Include ghee in your meals, as it helps pacify vata. Avoid raw, cold, or dry foods which can aggravate vata. Favor sweet, sour, and salty tastes in your daily meals.

Think about including kitchen herbs like turmeric and cumin, which aid in liver support and digestion. Boil half a teaspoon of turmeric powder in a cup of water, and consume it warm in the morning on an empty stomach. It enhances agni and helps with detoxifying the liver.

For herbal formulations, consider bhringraj. It’s known in Ayurveda for supporting liver function. Prepare a tea by boiling bhringraj leaves (or powder if leaves aren’t available) and drink this once or twice daily. Start with small amounts to monitor your body’s response, especially given your reaction with sarvakalpa kwath.

Remember, lifestyle plays a role, too. Engage in regular gentle exercises like yoga, which helps calm vata and enhances circulation to all the tissues, including the liver. Pranayama practices like Nadi Shodhana can also support balancing vata by calming the nervous system.

Yet it’s crucial to work closely with a healthcare provider for frequent monitoring of your liver enzymes and overall health, especially if symptoms persist or worsen. They can ensure all our efforts support your current needs without compromising your condition.
