Seeking Natural Remedies for Appetite Enhancement - #44701

Hello Doctors, I am taking Banstone G syrup with perfect Health capsules for last 6 years for increase of appetite. When i not eat for somedays my appetite reverse and totally decrease. So, again i start taking these two medicines. But, now i really want to stop taking these two medicines. Please suggest some medications for increase of appetite which have no side effects and also which acts little fast. Thanking you in advance.

Another option is Ayurvedic herbs like Ashwagandha, which supports digestion and enhances appetite. Mix one teaspoon of Ashwagandha powder with warm milk twice daily. It’s gentle yet effective. You can also try Shatavari; it’s known to balance Pitta and increase appetite.

In addition to herbs, diet modification is key. Start by introducing small quantities of ginger and rock salt before meals. Ginger helps in kindling hunger by stimulating digestion. Moreover, spices like cumin and fennel can also be added to your dishes as they enhance digestion without side effects.

Include warm, easily digestible foods in your diet - like soups and stews. Don’t forget the importance of routine; eat at regular intervals and avoid heavy meals at night. Also, try to eat in a relaxed environment, without distractions.

Hot water infused with lemon and honey, sipped in the morning, can also stimulate your appetite. It’s easy to prepare and acts quickly.

For lifestyle changes, consider incorporating daily practices like yoga, asanas like Pawanmuktasana, Vajrasana, and Uttanasana are beneficial for improving digestion and can increase appetite. Regular physical activity supports overall digestion.

While the natural methods ahead would take some consistent practice, they come without adverse effects and provide long-term benefits.
