Gokshura is an excellent Ayurvedic herb for urinary health, vitality, kidney support & mild testosterone boost , safe for general use.

Standard Daily Dosage (adult) Powder (Churna): 3–6 gm per day (½–1 tsp twice daily) with warm water/milk after meals.

Capsule/Tablet (500 mg extract): 1–2 capsules twice daily (total 1,000–2,000 mg).

Start low (half dose) first week to check tolerance.

Initial effects (energy, urine flow): 2–4 weeks. Full benefits (testosterone support, urinary/kidney health, stamina): 4–12 weeks (most notice in 6–8 weeks). Continue minimum 3 months for best results – safe long-term.

Take after food to avoid stomach upset. Combine with Ashwagandha for better vitality.

GOKSHURA IN AYURVEDA- OVERVIEW -RASA (taste)= Madhura (sweet) -GUNA (qualities)= guru (heavy), Snigdha (unctous) -VIRYA (potency)= sheets (cooling) -VIPAKA= madhura -DOSHA ACTIONS= pacifies vata and pitta, mildly increases kapha

PRIMARY ACTIONS -mutrala (diuretic) -vrisha (reproductive tonic) -Balya (strength promoting) -Rasayana (rejuvenative) -Shothahara (anti inflammatory)

TRADITIONALLY USED FOR -urinary tract health -kidney and bladder support -male and female reproductive health -general weakness and fatigue -vata disorders affecting the lower body

RECOMMENDED DOSSAGE (daily)

1) GOKSHURA CHURNA= 3-6 gms per day, divided into 1-2 doses

HOW TO TAKE -with warm water, milk or Gokshura kwatha

BEST TIME -after meals

For beginners or weak digestion = start with 3gm/day

2) GOKSHURA KWATHA DOSE= 40-60 ml once or twice daily

PREPARATION -10-15 gm coarse powder boiled in 200 ml water-> reduce to 50 ml

BEST FOR -urinary disorders, burning micturition, kidney support

3) TABLET/ CAPSULE DOSE= 500 mg 2 times daily

TIMELINE FOR RESULTS (progress expectations)

Gokshura can be taken 1 teaspoon in one cup water. Boil until it remains half filter, eat, and drink twice daily on empty stomach and one hour before dinner. If tablet form start one tablet twice daily after food with warm water

Gokshura is a herb, but it is meant to release toxins through urine, also it removes excess water from the body. Best time to take is morning or early evening as it has tendency to urge for frequent urine. Once your problem is solved one needs to stop the medicine.it is safe so no time line, but prefer taking till problem solves.
