Most of your symptoms shows --This is Nirama Pitta with Vata involvement, not Sama Pitta. -Strong hunger and loose non-sticky stools indicate aggravated Pitta with sharp digestion. -Bloating shows Vata in the intestines. Pungent herbs reduce gas but worsen Pitta. Bitter/astringent reduce Pitta but temporarily slow digestion. —Rx- 1) Guduchi Satva – 500 mg Twice daily after food with Luke warm water 2)Avipattikar Churna – 3 gm At bedtime with lukewarm water 3)Shankha Vati – 1 tab Twice daily after food (for bloating) 4)-----If acne prominent: Mahamanjishthadi Kwath – 15 ml + 15 ml water Twice daily before food ----Diet Advice:- Rice + moong dal Small quantity ghee Coriander + fennel water Eat every 3–4 hrs not too heavy —Apathya: Chili, fried food Fermented food Sour curd Excess garlic/onion —Follow-up: 15 days

No water has not increased in your body. Drinking 14–15 glasses of hot water daily for months increased Pitta, not body water. — plz understand this Excess heat → irritated intestines → loose motions, More internal heat → acne worsened Vata also disturbed → bloating Hot water is good for Kapha/ama, but in Pitta people it can aggravate heat if overused.

Sama Pitta vs. Nirama Pitta Sama Pitta (pitta mixed with ama/toxins) Stool: sticky, foul-smelling, sometimes mucus-laden. Appetite: reduced or irregular. Acne/skin issues: often aggravated. Response to bitter/astringent medicines: stool improves, acne reduces, but appetite drops → this matches your experience. Nirama Pitta (pure aggravated pitta, without ama) Stool: loose, non-sticky, burning sensation possible. Appetite: strong, frequent hunger. Acne: reddish, inflamed. Response to pungent medicines: bloating reduces, but pitta symptoms (acne, hunger, loose stool) worsen → again, this matches your description. Stabilize digestion (Agni) Use mild deepana-pachana herbs: Trikatu churna (very small dose, 1–2 pinches with warm water before meals). Avoid overuse of pungent medicines, since they aggravate pitta in your case. Clear Ama gently Guduchi (Tinospora cordifolia): 500 mg capsule or 1–2 tsp decoction daily with warm water. Bilva churna: 1–2 g with warm water after meals if stool is loose. Balance Pitta Avipattikar churna: 1–2 g with warm water at bedtime if acidity/burning is present. Saraswatarishta or Kamadudha rasa (under supervision) for acne and pitta calming. Dietary Do’s Eat at regular times; avoid skipping meals. Favor cooling, light foods: rice, moong dal, bottle gourd, pomegranate, coriander water. Avoid excess pungent, sour, salty foods. Don’ts No irregular eating, late-night meals, or heavy fried/oily foods. Limit chili, pickles, alcohol, and fermented foods.

It’s difficult to put your symptoms in one category. Just follow the below protocol. ✓Do ama pachana + mild deepana Vaishwanara Churna – 1–2 gm after lunch & dinner with warm water Arogyavardhini Vati – 1 tablet morning after breakfast ✓After 10–14 days (when bloating & loose motion reduce) Add Kutaj Parpati Vati or Kutajarishta 10–15 ml BD ✓Diet Light warm food only: thin moong khichdi + ½ tsp ghee, boiled lauki/pumpkin, pomegranate, thin buttermilk + roasted jeera Avoid completely: spicy/pungent (even mild), sour, fried, heavy dairy, cold drinks, raw salads, late dinner No skipping meals – eat small & frequent ✓Daily must Vajrasana 10 min after every meal Warm water sip all day (2.5–3 L) 10 min Anulom-Vilom pranayama Regards Dr Gursimran Jeet Singh MD Panchakarma

Hi… For your current condition it is more over nirama pitta because you said non sticky stool…but increase hunger means that your pitta is aggrevated with kapha anubandh that will cause sticky stool as ama formation and reducing agni… So basically you need to remove kapha from pittashya and then work on pitta… For this You can take Shunthi churna -1tsp-BD With warm water only…when you feel that your stool is non sticky and hunger is normal but your acne outburst then will go for pittaj chikitsa So for this start taking Triphala churna+ avipattkar churna at night 1 tsp only

HELLO, In Ayurveda, the difference between Sama pitta (pitta with Ama) and Nirama pitta (pitta without ama) depends mainly on the presence of ama (toxins due to weak digestion) BASED ON YOUR SYMPTOMS When taking pungent medicines -loose, non-sticky stools -increased acne (reddish) -severe hunger -bloating reduces This shows strong Agni(digestion) but aggravated pitta, without clear ama signs WHEN TAKING BITTER/ASTRINGENT MEDICINES -stool becomes formed but sticky -acne reduces -appetite descreases Stickiness suggests mild Ama formation due to agni suppression Your pattern suggests mainly Nirama pitta (aggravated pitta without significant ama), but when you over-cool/suppress digestion with too much bitter/astringent medicine, secondary ama formation happens So this is primarily nirama pitta with variable agni, not classical Sama pitta AYURVEDIC MANAGEMENT MAIN GOAL -pacify pitta -maintain balanced agni -do NOT over-reduce digestion DIET -take regular meals on time -old rice, wheat -moong dal -bottle gourd, ridge gourd -pomegranate -small amount of ghee AVOID -excess spicy, sour, fermented foods -fried items -excess chilli -skipping meals SIMPLE REMEDIES -GUDUCHI GHAN VATI= 2 tabs twice dialy after meals =immunomodulator -SHATAVARI= 1 tsp with warm milk at night = mild pitta pacifier without suppressing digestion -AVIPATTIKAR CHURNA= 1/2 tsp with warm water before meals -BUTTERMILK diluted, non sour with roasted jeera at lunch LIFESTYLE -sleep before 10:30 pm -avoid anger/stress (pitta trigger) -moderate cooling pranayam - sheetali If symptoms persist>6 months as in your case, a mild virechana may give long term relief- but under ayurvedic physician DO FOLLOW HOPE THIS MIGHT BE HELPFUL THANK YOU

You are having sama pitta kopa. There is agni vaishamya in sama pitta which is causing symptoms like sticky foul smelling stools and this causes further accumulation of ama leading to further symptoms

Ideally you should only be drinking 2 to 3 liters of water only. Excessive drinking of water can dilute your electrolytes and sodium balance and cause issues from the cellular levels itself. In ayurvedic terms agni vaishamya. You need to improve your agni using gentle means in order to not irritate it further.

*Kaiduryadi kashayam 15 ml twice daily before food mixed with 60 ml luke warm water will be extremely useful in your as it’s gentle it improves agni and balance pitta and vata. *Dadimashtak choorna 3 gm with butter milk twice daily after food is potent agnivardhaka but is gentle on pitta. *Lasunadi vati 1tab+ dhanwantaram gulika 2tab thrice daily before food will balance the vata vitiation happened along with it. *Kutajarishta 10 ml thrice daily after food will be able to control the pitta effect on skin and is also potent in sama pitta and improve your bowel movements Once your pitta is stabilized we can start using bilwadi lehya in the mornings to strengthen the system as a rasayana. Meanwhile only drink luke warm water just over 2 liters every day

Hello Thank you for sharing your concern. I must say you have made a keen observation abour how your body responds to different tastes. This information abour yourself is very useful. As our body gives different sign and we must be able to understand and act on it accordingly. YOUR CONCERN You are suffering with Loose stools Sometimes sticky and sometimes non sticky Bloating Reddish acne Stronger hunger at fixed time And you have this from 6 months You have noticed Pungent medication = reduces bloating but worsens acne and loose stools On other hand Bitter or astringent medicines = improves your acne but causes sticky stools This symptoms suggests a mixed digestive state not purely sama or purely nirama As i came to know your knowledge in Ayurveda, I would like to explain it in a more understandable way AYURVEDIC UNDERSTANDING Your condition= combination of sama and nirama Sama pitta includes Bloating Sticky stools Heaviness Reduced appetite When you consume bitter mediaction Ama gets reduced partially But bitter medicines make digestion or agni weak So stools become sticky This all indicates ama involvement Now moving to nirama pitta Syrong hunger Loose stools Burning tendency Acne This suggests nirama stage of pitta And when you take pungent mediactaion Digestion imprives Ama reduces But pitta increases This indicates the active stage of pitta I hope you have now understood your symptoms So making a conclusion you are likely having a combination of both sama and nirama Avastha In short Ama is present intermittent Pitta is strong Digestion is vishama that is irregular sometimes strong sometimes weak so is your stools sometimes sticky sometimes non sticky TREATMENT PLAN So according to your condition i will plan a treatment which will first regulate your agni and remove ama with out disturbing your pitta Aim of treatment 👉Balance digestion and remove ama 👉control pitta 👉Stabilize digestion INTERNAL. AYURVEDIC MEDICATION 1.Avipathikar chourna 1/2 tsp twice daily before your meals This will balance pitta and improve digestion 2.Musta churna 1/2 tsp twice daily after food Removes Ama Controls loose stools 3.Takaristha 30ml +30ml water after lunch Best for mixed Ama- pitta condition Reduces bloating As your digestion will. IMPROVE acne and redness will also reduce DIET PLAN For you diet plan and important role as diet is only main thing which can make or break your agni ✅INCLUDE Rice Moong dal Bottle gourd Ridge gourd Buttermilk Pomogranate ❌AVOID very spicy food Fried items Fermented food items Packed food items HOME REMEDIES Very effective 👉CORIANDER- CUMIN WATER** Boil 1/2 tsp of each in 1 glass of water and drink daily Balances pitta and ama 👉GINGER WATER Put a small piece of ginger in warm water and drink Improves digestion without increasing pitta Your sumptoms show sentsitive pitta with irregular digestion, not a permanent disease Avoid very strong pungent medications The goal of above holistic plan is to bring Samaagni that is balanced agni With proper AYURVEDIC plan your digestion can stabilize Hope you found this helpful Wishing you a good health Warm Regards Dr Snehal Vidhate

From what you are describing, this does not look like a purely Nirama Pitta state. In Nirama Pitta, digestion is usually clear and sharp, stools are loose but not sticky, appetite is strong and clean, and there is no coating or heaviness. Your pattern shows mixed features: • Loose, non-sticky stools and severe hunger suggest active Pitta • Bloating suggests Vata involvement and possible Ama formation • When taking bitter/astringent medicines, stools become formed but sticky and appetite reduces — this indicates Ama is still present • Pungent medicines reducing bloating but worsening acne and loose stools shows Pitta aggravation So this appears more like a Sama Pitta with Vata association rather than pure Nirama Pitta. In this stage, strong pungent or excessively heating medicines may worsen Pitta, and heavy bitter/astringent medicines may suppress appetite and increase Ama. What to do: • Focus on mild deepana–pachana (gentle digestion correction) rather than strong Pitta-reducing or heating herbs • Eat at regular times; avoid overeating during severe hunger spikes • Avoid very spicy, fried, fermented, and sour foods • Use light, warm, freshly cooked meals • Do not abruptly alternate strong medicine categories Because your condition has been present for more than 6 months and shows mixed dosha features, treatment needs fine balancing. A detailed consultation is important to assess agni, bowel pattern, tongue signs, and overall constitution before selecting the correct line of treatment.
