Both pitta & vata r imbalanced with low agni causing unformed motion, bloating, skin problem, acidity downwards, dry skin, insomnia. So if i take any cooling medicine kutajghan, bilvadi, giloy for pitta shaman then vata gets imbalanced & digestion becomes sluggish with severe bloating, heaviness, excess hunger, even after feeling hungry i feel heaviness after eating just 1 spoon food. And if i take heating medicine to balance vata like panchkol, lavan bhaskar then i feel lighter & bloating reduces but loose motion & skin rash increases. Already medium built can't have shatavari n all. What to do???

Hello I can clearly understand you are now having a vata pitta imbalance with low digestive fire (mandagni) leading to ama accumulation You know in ayurveda it is mentioned that when more than 1 dosha is imbalanced we have to balance one dosha without disturbing the other ▪️ I will explain this in simple terms. When you used cooling medicines like giloy = your pitta was balance but agni got weak leading to vata aggrevation and ama accumulation So we dont need cooling or heating We need deepana with pacahana and gentle pitta balance ▪️Treatment plan -We need to improve your digestive fire -gently balance pitta -Digestion of accumulated ama -balancing vata ▪️Internal medication 1.Mustaristha 20 ml + 1/4 tsp of sunti powder twice daily after food 2.Takaristha 30ml with equal water after lunch 3.Avipathikar churna 1/2 tsp with warm water before breakfast and dinner 4 Triphala Churna 1 tsp with warm water at bed time ▪️Diet Till your digestion stabilizes have more of -Light khichadi -moong dal soup -cooked vegetables -daliya -rice with ghee Avoid -raw vegatables -spicy food items -fermented food like idli dosa ▪️Eat small but frequently should be your eating pattern If symptoma perists even after 10 days of treatment I will suggest you to take once panchakarma therapy like virechana purgation or detox therapy With right medicine and following the diet you will definately feel lighter Wishinh you a good health 😊 Warm Regards Dr Snehal Vidhate

●When Pitta is aggravated: Acidity, burning sensation, sweating, acne, skin diseases. Anger, irritability, jealousy, or impatience. An imbalance of Pitta does not ignite the “fire,” but rather destroys it.Headache, burning sensation in the eyes, stomach irritation. Insomnia and excessive thirst. ●Pitta-Balancing Diet • Foods with cold, sweet, bitter, and astringent juices. Cucumber, watermelon, sugar, coconut water, fennel, and coriander. • Milk, ghee, and rice are best. • Limit spicy, sour, salty, and pungent foods. Avoid alcohol, coffee, tobacco, and fast food. ●Daily Routine Exercise in the morning or evening – when the weather is cool. ● • Rest in a cool place, avoid excessive sunlight or steam. • Adopt cooling elements like sandalwood, rose, camphor, and khus. • Avoid anger and competition, practice forgiveness and peace. A cool bath and meditation before bed are beneficial. ●The medicine for a Pitta mind is compassion and calmness. The medicine for a Pitta mind is compassion and calmness. When Pitta is calmed, the fire element within transforms into light. This takes the form of clarity, confidence, and leadership. The key to balance is coolness, forgiveness, and restraint. Cool drinks, rose water, sandalwood paste, and rest are essential. ●When Vata is aggravated: Fatigue. Dryness. Interpretation: Constipation, gas, dry cough or sore throat. Back or joint pain, insomnia, Restlessness, fear, feelings of insecurity. Excessive yellowing of the skin, lips, and hair. In women - PMS, back pain, anxiety, and insomnia. “Vata’s fickleness is the only medicine.” Vata can only be calmed by stability, warmth, and affection. ●Vata-Balancing Diet • Warm, ghee-rich, oily, and moist foods. • Soups, porridge, mung bean porridge, ghee-based vegetables. Sweet, sour, and salty juice balancers. Use milk, ghee, sesame oil, ginger, cinnamon, and dried ginger. Reduce cold, dry, crispy, or raw foods. ●Daily Routine for Vata • Morning and evening abhyanga (oil massage) with sesame or almond oil. • In yoga, practice stable postures like Tadasana, Trikonasana, and Balasana. • Maintain a regular daily routine – set specific times for meals, sleep, and work. • Keep the body warm, soft, and protected during autumn and winter. Build mental stability through meditation and pranayama.

This is a classical case of combined vata pitta imbalance with low Agni leading to informed motion, bloating, acidity, downward, digestive irregularity, dry skin, and insomnia Strong cooling medicine for pitta like Kutajaghan Bilvadi or Giloy aggravate vata causing heaviness, bloating, and sluggish digestion Strong heating medicines for vata like panchakol Laban Bhaskar reduce bloating, but increase loose tool, skin rash, and pitta symptoms Hingvachadi gulika take one tablet twice day after food to reduce bloating and gas Jeeraka aristha 15 ML with equal water twice daily after food to support digestion without aggravating pitta Triphala churna 1 teaspoon with warm water at night Take small, warm, freshly cook meals, avoid Rao food, executive sugar Maintain regular timing, avoid long app, manage stress and ensure adequate sleep

What you are describing is a classic picture of Grahani (IBS-like condition) where both Vata and Pitta are imbalanced with low Agni. The main mistake here is trying to treat only one dosha at a time — that’s why you’re getting opposite reactions. Let’s simplify your management: First, understand this: Cooling medicines → reduce Pitta but aggravate Vata → bloating, heaviness Heating medicines → reduce Vata but aggravate Pitta → loose motions, burning, skin issues So the goal is not cooling or heating, but stabilizing Agni and balancing both together. What you should do 1. Mental factor (very important) Stop over-focusing on symptoms. Overthinking and stress directly worsen Grahani and create a vicious cycle. Keep yourself engaged in work or hobbies. 2. Diet & routine correction Eat simple, warm, freshly cooked food Take meals at fixed timings Include 1–2 teaspoons of ghee daily (very important for both Vata & Pitta balance) Avoid: Excess spicy, sour, fermented food Raw salads (temporarily) Cold food/drinks 3. Eating habits Eat only when you feel true hunger Don’t overeat even if hungry sensation feels strong Walk 100 steps after 45 minutes of meals Drink water in small sips (1–2 liters/day) If you drink a lot of water early morning, switch to just 1 glass warm water 4. Medicines (balanced approach) Guduchyadi Kashayam – twice daily after food → Helps balance Pitta without worsening Vata too much Sutshekhar Rasa – twice daily after food → Controls acidity, stabilizes digestion, and supports Agni 5. Lifestyle Do light exercise daily (walking, yoga) Improve sleep routine (very important for Vata) Key takeaway Your condition will improve only when: Agni becomes stable Vata is grounded Pitta is gently controlled Not by strong heating or strong cooling.

✓Medicines Hingwashtak Churna – ½ tsp after lunch & dinner with warm water Bilvadi Lehyam – 1 tsp twice daily after meals Praval Pishti – 250 mg twice daily with honey or warm water Ashwagandha + Shatavari (equal mix, low dose) – 2 gm night with ½ tsp ghee in warm water ✓Daily Routine (Very Important) Vajrasana 10 minutes after every meal (strongest for Samana Vata & Agni) Warm sesame oil gentle abdominal massage clockwise 5–10 min morning & night Sip warm fennel + cumin water throughout the day Dinner very light & before 7 pm No raw salads after 4 pm, no cold drinks ✓Diet Stick to warm, well-cooked: moong khichdi + extra ghee, lauki, pumpkin, carrot, ridge gourd, pomegranate Add ½ tsp ground flaxseeds daily Avoid triggers: weather extremes, excessive raw food, sour/spicy, fermented items Regards Dr Gursimran Jeet Singh MD Panchakarma

Hello, You’re dealing with a classical vata-pitta dual aggravation with low agni (Mandagni + vishamagni mix). The key mistake right now is trying to treat one dosha strongly at a time, which is causing rebound imbalance 1) Core principle (most important ) -don’t use strong heating or strong cooling herbs alone -focus on mildly warm + stabilizing + pitta safe approch -Goal= ignite digestion without aggravating pitta or vata 2) Agni correction (priority) use gentle digestive support, not aggressive -jeera + dhaniya + saunf water (coriander dominant) -boil-> sip warm through day =balances both vata and pitta -Before meals= small piece of fresh ginger + pinch of rock salt -if pitta high-> add few drops of ghee Avoid=pacnhkola, strong churna, excess lava Bhaskar (too heating) 3) Diet (this will fix 60% of problem) -warm, soft, slightly oily food -moong dal, rice, khichdi (best) -cooked vegetables (bottle gourd, pumpkin, ridge gourd) -cow ghee very important for both doshas -buttermilk diluted, with roasted jeera Avoid -raw salads increase vata -sour, spicy, fermented (increase pitta) -dry foods , fasting (worsens both) -fruits at niht Eat small but frequent meals (your heaviness after 1 spoon= weak agni + ama) 4) Internal medications Morning -Guduchi ghan vati= 2 tabs twice daily after meals with ghee After meals -Avipattikar churn 1/2 tsp wit h warm water best for Pitta + digestion Durin loose motion= kutaj ghan vati=2 tabs twice daily after meals 5) Vata control (essential for bloating and insomnia) - daily warm sesame oil massage -warm water bath after massage -early sleep before 10:30 pm 6) Pittacontrol for skin and acidity -ghee daily 2 tsp -avoid heat exposure, sun, anger triggers Add= amla 1 tsp with warm water in morning, coriander water daily 7) Bloating + heaviness fix -Hingwstaka churna= 1/2 tsp with warm water or ghee before meals -ajwain pinch after meals not in excess -walk 100 steps after eating daily 8) Insomnia -warm milk + nutmeg pinch at night -oil massage on feet + scalp 9) What Not to do (important) -don’t alternate between heating and cooling aggressively -don’t take heat tonics like shatavari right now correct -don’t overload with multiple chruna Timeline -2-3 weeks= digestion stabilizes -4-6 weeks= bowel + bloating improve -6-8 weeks= skin + sleep normalize Your main treatment= mild agni correction + vata grounding + gentle pitta cooling Not strong dosha suppression Do follow Hope this might be helpful Thank you
