A few weeks ago, I started noticing that I was getting bruises really easily. Even a small bump would leave a big blue mark, and I didn’t even remember how I got half of them. Then, I started seeing tiny red spots on my skin, almost like a rash, but they weren’t itchy. I ignored it for a while, but then I got a small cut while cooking, and it just wouldn’t stop bleeding. That scared me, so I went to the doctor and got some tests done. They told me I have thrombocytopenia, which means my platelet count is really low. The doctor said it could be due to an infection, some medication I took before, or even an immune system issue. They didn’t give me any strong medicines yet, but they asked me to come back for more tests if it doesn’t improve in a few weeks. In the meantime, they just told me to be careful and avoid any injuries. Now, I’m looking into Ayurveda because I want to naturally increase my platelet count and avoid any complications from thrombocytopenia. I’m learning to blend classical techniques with today’s clinical demands.. like how to make Vamana or Basti actually doable in modern patient setups. My current practice is really about merging tradition with logic. Whether it’s chronic skin issues, gut problems, stress burnout or hormone stuff—my goal is to get to the root, not just hush the symptoms. I use Panchakarma when needed, but also a lot of ahara-vihara tweaks, medhya herbs, sometimes just slowing ppl down a bit helps. I really believe Ayurveda’s power is in its simplicity when done right. I don’t try to fix ppl—I work *with* them. And honestly, every patient teaches me something back.
