Hi,

Prolonged spotting could be due to a hormonal imbalance, affecting vata and pitta. Have you experienced any recent changes in your stress levels, diet, or lifestyle? Do you have a history of irregular cycles or any digestive issues? How are your usual cycles?

Hey there, it sounds like you’re dealing with a mix of symptoms, and while it’s important to rule out any serious underlying medical conditions with your healthcare provider, there are some Ayurvedic insights I can share with ya.

From what you’ve mentioned, this prolonged spotting along with symptoms like acne, breast pain, and body discomfort could be linked to an imbalance in your doshas. In Ayurveda, such symptoms often hint at an aggravation of Pitta dosha, particularly affecting the reproductive system. Meanwhile, the body pains and swelling might signal a Vata imbalance, too. We want to work towards bringing these doshas back into harmony.

First, let’s talk about diet. Think cool and calming foods. Incorporate more of those into your meals, like cucumbers, watermelon, and aloe vera juice. These cooling foods can help pacify Pitta. Avoid overly spicy or sour foods, and yep, that craving for coffee might need to chill. It can aggravate Pitta just as well.

For the Vata aspect, we want nourishment. Consider warm oil massages – Sesame oil is great! Try massaging at least a few times a week in the morning before a warm shower. This supports circulation and helps with swelling and body aches.

Look into herbal supports too: Shatavari and Ashwagandha are traditionally used to balance hormones and empower female health. A gentle decoction or tea made with such herbs can be soothing. However, please consult with an Ayurvedic practitioner for proper dosages.

Mind you, aleavating stress is crucial since stress can wreak havoc on your doshas balance! Simple breathing exercises or meditation can go a long way.

Don’t ignore what’s happening, especially if symptoms persist or worsen, ensure you touch base with a healthcare provider to rule out any serious conditions like fibroids or hormonal imbalances. Ayurveda is awesome and supportive in the journey, but primary health needs attention too. :)
