डॉक्टरों की प्रतिक्रियाएं

Hello Maanya, It sounds like your daughter is experiencing multiple concerns that could be linked to imbalances in her body. Dandruff, hair fall, acne, and excess body hair may indicate issues with the Pitta and Vata doshas, which can affect skin, hair, and overall vitality. These concerns, along with irritability and lack of energy, could also point to hormonal imbalances, possibly related to her growth and development. To address these issues, Ayurvedic treatments like dietary changes, herbal remedies such as Brahmi, Neem, and Ashwagandha, along with gentle scalp massages using natural oils, can help balance her doshas and improve her skin and hair health. Has she had any recent medical tests, such as hormone levels or growth assessments? How is her appetite, digestion, and sleep patterns?

Dear Parent,

I’m sorry to hear about Maanya’s health challenges. The combination of dandruff, hair fall, acne, blackheads, excessive body hair, stunted growth, fatigue, irritability, and dissatisfaction in an 11-year-old girl may indicate underlying medical conditions that require professional evaluation. U would suggest you to consult a gynaecologist/endocrinologist for further evaluation ,once she is evaluated you can take ayurvedic support to get rid of above symptoms

Sure sounds like your daughter might be experiencing some early signs of hormonal changes! It’s not uncommon, but I get that it’s worrying. In Ayurveda, we often look at imbalances in the doshas to understand these issues. From what you’ve shared, it seems there could be an imbalance in Pitta dosha, maybe mixed with some Kapha, given the symptoms like acne, laziness, and irritation.

To start, let’s talk about diet. Focus on cooling and calming foods to balance Pitta. Offer her more sweet, bitter, and astringent tastes — like leafy greens, carrots, cucumber, pomegranate, and coconut water. Also, cut down on spicy, greasy, and overly salty foods, they can inflame Pitta further.

Hydration is also key. Make sure she’s drinking plenty of water, maybe with a splash of lime or mint for added benefits.

For her hair and skin, I’d recommend applying a gentle coconut oil massage to her scalp before washing her hair. Go for a mild herbal shampoo afterwards. Weekly scalp massages can help with the dandruff and hair fall.

Now about exercise and laziness. Encourage gentle activities like yoga or swimming if she likes it! Just 20-30 minutes a day can make a big difference and boost her mood.

For acne and blackheads, try a simple face mask made from chickpea flour (besan), a pinch of turmeric, and rose water. Apply it on her face for 10-15 minutes, a couple times a week.

Keep a regular sleep routine – this one’s big. Aim for her to wind down and be in bed by around 9-10 pm. Good sleep can really help stabilize mood.

Lastly, growing tall can be genetic, but ensure she gets enough calcium and protein in her diet through milk, almonds, paneer, and beans.

Remember, these changes take time! Be patient and supportive. But if her symptoms get worse, or don’t improve, do consult with a pediatrician or specialist. Sometimes a combined approach with modern medicine can be helpful. You’re doing great by looking for ways to support her!
