Ginger, black pepper, and turmeric are great spices to incorporate into your meals. Ginger tea is another excellent choice for supporting lung health.
Practicing Pranayama, particularly Bhastrika (Bellows Breath), can enhance your lung capacity and support respiratory health. Aim for 5-10 minutes of Pranayama daily, but start slow and increase as you feel comfortable.
Remember to keep warm, as cold can aggravate the symptoms. Avoid dairy and excessive sugar as these can thicken mucus and worsen congestion. Stay hydrated by drinking warm water throughout the day, which may help thin mucus and ease the coughing.
