1)AMLA CHURNA- 1 tsp with warm water on empty stomach every morning -Rasayana(rejuvenator), boosts hair roots, rich in vitamin c

2)BHRINGARAJASAVA- 20 ml with water twice daily after meals =keshraj- king of hair , reverses hair fall and strengthens root

You’re 18, facing hairfall, thinning, and frizziness and you’ve tried finasteride and minoxidil with some results but also side effects. given your age and history that father is bald and sensitive to medications.

According too ayurveda , hair health is mainly governed by -pitta dosha= responsible for metabolism and heat in the body -vata dosha= causes dryness and frizz when aggravated -herediity also acknowledge in ayurveda as Beeja dosha

INTERNAM MANAGEMENT PLAN 1)BHRINGARAJ CHURNA- 3 gms once daily with warm water or honey after dinner =hair regrowth, reduces hairfall

2)AMLA CHURNA- 5 gms empty stomach in morning with lukewarm water =antioxidants, pitta, strengthen hair

3)ASHWAGANDHA CHURNA- 1 tsp at bedtime with warm water =hormonal balance, reduces stress

4)TRIPHALA CHURNA- 1 tsp with warm water at bedtime =detox, improve gut health

5)BRAHMI VATI- 1 tab after breakkfast =reduces stress

Hey aryan, You’re not alone. Finasteride is effective but can cause sexual side effects in some men:

Commonly ,Weak erections etc. Better you stopped when you noticed the symptoms. Luckily, they seem to have reversed now — that’s a good sign.

Black Sesame Seed Powder - 100 grams Bhringraj Churna - 100 grams Aamalki Rasayan - 200 grams Mukta Shukti - 10 grams Saptamrita Loha - 20 grams Dhatri Loha - 10 grams Mix all the medicines and make 60 doses.Take in the morning and evening, half-an-hour before meals with water, honey or milk. Hair growth enhances after the use of this mixture and it is also beneficial in eye disorders.

Do’s: Stay Hydrated. Drink buttermilk. Limit dairy intake. Home cooked meal that is a balanced diet. Stress free lifestyle Pranayam : ANULOM VILOM, TRATAK Yoga: SHIRSHASAN, PASHIMOTANASAN, TRIKONASAN.

Dont’s: Oily and Spicy food. Processed food. Preserved food. Packed and ready to eat items. Pickles Papad Dried Fish Curd

Medication:

Tab. Lakshadi Guggul 2 tabs twice a day before food. Tab. Asthiposhak Vati 1 tab twice a day before food. Tab. Praval Panchamrit 2 tabs twice a day before food. Syp. Raktdoshantak 2 tsp twice a day after food.

Coconut oil + Neem leaves(few) + Hibiscus flowers(10-15) + Fenugreek seeds (20-30) + Onion Juice/shredded onion. Boil it all together for half n hour on slow flame. Apply this oil twice or thrice a week a night before you have a hair wash.

I did my undergrad from Rajiv Gandhi Ayurveda Medical College (2017 batch, CCRAS syllabus under Pondicherry Univ). Somehow managed to secure 2nd rank university-wide back then, which I didn’t totally expect. Right now, my core interest lies in the Ayurvedic and integrative management of eye disorders. I’ve got decent exposure to both classical texts and clinical practice. From anatomy to pathology, I try to stay grounded in both the traditional Ayurvedic view and also the modern opthalmic understanding, especially with conditions related to the cornea, retina, and anterior segment. I work with chronic conditions, gut imbalances, seasonal allergies, emotional stress patterns, even people who just “don’t feel right” anymore but don’t have a name for it. Prevention is also a huge part of what I do—Ayurveda isn’t just for after you fall sick. Helping someone stay aligned, even when nothing feels urgent, is maybe the most powerful part of this science. My entire practice is rooted in classical Ayurvedic texts—Charaka, Sushruta, Ashtanga Hridayam—and I try to stay true to the system, but I also speak to people where they’re at. That means making the treatments doable in real life. No fancy lists of herbs no one can find. No shloka lectures unless someone wants them. Just real healing using real logic and intuition together. I care about precision in diagnosis. I don’t rush that part. I take time. Because one wrong assumption and you’re treating the shadow, not the source. And that’s what I try to avoid. My goal isn’t temporary relief—it’s to teach the body how to not need constant fixing. When someone walks away lighter, clearer, more in tune with their system—that’s the actual win.
