Instead, opt for cooling foods such as leafy greens, cucumber, and fruits like pomegranates and watermelon. These can help balance Pitta and will support your skin health from within.

Incorporating herbs known for their skin benefits can also be quite beneficial. For instance, Turmeric (Curcuma longa), with its anti-inflammatory properties, can be helpful. You might consider taking half a teaspoon of turmeric mixed in a glass of warm water each morning. Another herb, Neem (Azadirachta indica), is also well-regarded for its skin-purifying properties. Drinking neem leaf tea regularly can help detoxify the blood and support clearer skin.

External application of Ayurvedic remedies can complement the internal approach. A paste made of sandalwood powder and rose water applied to the moles can soothe the skin and may help reduce pigmentation over time. Leave this paste on the affected area for about 20 minutes before rinsing it off with warm water. It’s advisable to do this 3-4 times a week.

Regular Abhyanga (oil massage) with cooling oils such as coconut oil can also contribute to overall skin health by maintaining moisture balance and nourishing the skin tissues. Avoid harsh sunlight exposure; when outside during peak sun hours, a natural sunscreen or covering the face might be helpful.

If these approaches do not provide the desired relief, or if the moles show any signs of changes in shape, color, or size, it’s crucial to consult with a dermatologist. Monitoring any unusual changes on moles is important to rule out any serious skin conditions. Always remember, Ayurveda emphasizes balanced living, so along with these measures, maintain a stress-free lifestyle, ensure adequate hydration, and get plenty of rest to support overall health and skin wellness.
