As an Ayurveda doctor, your symptoms of dizziness and instability could be linked to imbalances in the body's doshas, particularly Vata, which governs movement and balance. Low levels of Vitamin D and B12 can also contribute to feelings of weakness and dizziness, as these nutrients are essential for nerve health and overall vitality. In Ayurveda, we would focus on strengthening your digestion (Agni) to improve nutrient absorption and balance Vata dosha, along with addressing your deficiencies through dietary changes and specific herbs like Ashwagandha, Shatavari, or Triphala. A holistic approach would include a proper diet rich in vitamins and minerals, stress management techniques, and gentle exercises like yoga to improve balance and stability. It is also important to ensure that any underlying conditions are properly addressed by your healthcare provider, as deficiencies can exacerbate your symptoms.

Feeling dizzy and unsteady can be super unsettling, especially when it comes out of nowhere. Given that your CT brain scan didn’t show anything alarming and you've found deficiencies in vitamin D and B12, those could be culprits here. Low levels in these vitamins often lead to symptoms like dizziness and balance issues because they play vital roles in nerve function and bone health. First off, focusing on boosting those vitamin levels could be key. For vitamin D, try to get some sun if you can—just 10 to 15 minutes a day with some skin exposed might help, but not so much try and get burned. Also, eating foods like fatty fish (like salmon or tuna), egg yolks, and fortified dairy products might work for you. For vitamin B12, foods like meat, fish, eggs, and dairy products are helpful; if you're vegetarian or vegan, you might want to look into fortified cereals or supplements after checking with a healthcare provider to confirm the dose is right. Take things easy, though—if walking makes you feel like you're gonna fall, maybe start with seated exercises to improve balance and coordination without putting yourself at risk. Tai chi or yoga can often help with balance, too, and they have this neat way of calming the mind. Mind your hydration levels as well because sometimes, just being dehydrated can cause dizziness. Keep sipping water throughout the day. Avoid too much caffeine or alcohol since they might mess up your hydration balance, contributing to that woozy feeling. But if these symptoms get more intense or don’t improve with lifestyle changes, definitely follow up with a healthcare professional. They might need to look into other potential causes or suggest specific therapies suited to your needs. Safety first, yeah?
