If fluid persists flowing from your ear, especially over a prolonged period of 6 months, it is important to consult an ENT specialist or healthcare professional. Such symptoms could indicate a chronic condition or infection that necessitates medical supervision. Nevertheless, Ayurveda can complement to ensure holistic treatment, focusing on underlying imbalances within your body. Your symptoms suggest a possible Kapha imbalance contributing to fluid accumulation. To address this, maintaining optimal ear hygiene is crucial. Avoid inserting any sharp objects inside the ear canal, as this can exacerbate the condition. In Ayurveda, herbs with anti-inflammatory and antimicrobial properties can be helpful. You could consider using neem oil, which has natural antibacterial properties. Warm a small amount of neem oil, reach a comfortable temperature and gently apply it around the outer ear using a clean cotton ball but don't insert it into the ear canal. Concurrently, keeping the ears dry and avoiding exposure to water might be crucial. Your diet significantly influences your body's balance. Focus on reducing Kapha-aggravating foods, such as dairy, heavy, oily, and cold foods. Consuming lighter, warm, and digestible meals typically helps to balance Kapha dosha. Ginger and turmeric are warming spices known to reduce inflammation and may support in clearing excess Kapha. Balancing your daily regimen may involve regular physical activity to kindle the digestive fire, Agni, enhancing overall metabolism. Also, managing stress levels through meditation or yoga can assist in maintaining overall balance in the body. Consumption of Guduchi (Tinospora cordifolia) may be beneficial as its known to enhance the immune system and support healthy ear function. Consult an Ayurvedic practitioner to determine the precise dosage. However, if there is severe pain, dizziness, changes in hearing, or any other alarming symptoms, it's essential to seek immediate medical assistance.igoruing these signs could lead to complications, so don't delay contacting a professional if serious symptoms arise.
