Managing blood clots in such critical areas as the intestine and kidneys, along with proteinuria, poses a significant medical challenge. Ayurveda can support and complement modern treatments; however, the urgency of your conditions requires ongoing consultation with your healthcare provider to not replace prescribed medications. Let's explore the ways Ayurveda might offer support: First, addressing your diet is vital. Consuming a meal plan that pacifies Pitta and balances Kapha doshas may be beneficial. Aim for lukewarm, easily digestible foods like rice, moong dal, and vegetables cooked with mild spices. Avoid excessively oily, spicy, or salty foods, as these can aggravate the condition. Keeping hydrated is essential, but avoid excessive liquids in one sitting. Use Ayurvedic herbs known for supporting renal and digestive systems. Gokshura (Tribulus terrestris) and Punarnava (Boerhavia diffusa) may aid in kidney function improvement and reduction of proteinuria. Consult a practitioner for proper dosage and suitability, given your specific condition. Regularly practice gentle Pranayama exercises like Anulom Vilom. These breathing patterns can assist in maintaining the balance and circulatory health, indirectly benefiting your recovery process. While Ayurveda offers therapies, including Panchakarma, to promote overall health and removal of toxins, these should be considered once the acute phase of illness is past and only under strict supervision. Since you're on immunosuppressants like Rituximab, consider the compatibility of herbal remedies with prescribed medication before introduction. The timeframe of recovery varies widely across individuals due to the complex interplay of factors – continuation of allopathic care alongside can adapt outcome speed. Please engage with your doctor regularly to track your condition and adjust treatment plans as needed. The integration of Ayurveda should enhance not hinder, your current medical regimen.
