I am kinda confused about how to use nalpamaradi thailam for face care. My skin has been acting up lately, like really dry and kinda patchy, especially around my cheeks and forehead. I read somewhere that nalpamaradi thailam can help with this, but I’m not exactly sure how to apply it? Like, do I need to mix it with something, or should I just put it straight on? Also, I tried using it for the first time last night and I think I might’ve used too much, because my skin felt a bit oily afterwards. Am I supposed to wash it off after a certain time, or just leave it on? I really want to get my skin back to normal and glow-y, ya know? My friend said it’s great for complexion too, so how often can I use nalpamaradi thailam for face? I just really want to make sure I'm doing this right because I’ve seen some good reviews, but I'm feeling a bit lost here! Thank you!

It’s known for its richness in herbs like Turmeric, which helps in brightening the complexion and evening out skin tone, and Sesame oil, which is moisturizing. Since you mentioned having dry and patchy skin, this oil can help balance your skin’s condition.

For application, you should start by cleansing your face with a gentle cleanser to ensure there are no impurities blocking the absorption of the oil. Once your face is clean and dry, take a small amount of the nalpamaradi thailam on your fingertips. A few drops are generally enough, as this oil is quite rich.

Gently massage the oil into your face with upward, circular motions. This enhances blood circulation and helps the oil penetrate the skin better. Be cautious not to use too much, as it can indeed feel oily. For your concern about washing it off, leave the oil on your face for about 20 to 30 minutes, then wash it off with lukewarm water and a gentle cleanser.

If your skin does feel too oily, it indicates you may be using a bit too much. Adjust the quantity next time. Since your skin is dry, applying the oil about 3 to 4 times a week should suffice. Once your skin begins to improve, you can reduce it to twice a week or so to maintain the glow.

Keep in mind, sensitivity can vary, so monitor how your skin responds. If you experience any irritation, discontinue use. Also, avoid using it if you have active acne or inflammed areas, as the oil coating can sometimes exacerbate the condition.

Incorporating a balanced diet that supports vata dosha imbalances could also be beneficial since dry skin often relates to a vata disturbance. Eating warm, moist foods like stews and adding healthy fats like ghee might help your skin from within.
