For a condition like recurrent glioblastoma, close medical supervision in collaboration with conventional oncological treatment is critical and must be priority. Ayurveda can play a supportive role but should not replace conventional treatment for such aggressive conditions. Let’s explore some supporting ayurvedic advice to complement existing treatments.

Firstly, ensure her agni or digestive fire is functioning well, as this influences the body’s overall health and capacity to cope. Avoid overly heavy, processed, and fried foods that may strain her digestive system. Incorporating foods easy to digest and rich in antioxidants can help: fresh fruits such as pomegranate and papaya, as they are nourishing.

Ayurveda suggests herbs like Ashwagandha—safe in appropriate amounts—as an adjunct to mainstream therapy. Known for adaptogenic properties, it helps in managing stress and potentially supporting immune function. However, herbal supplementation must be evaluated by her primary healthcare provider to ensure no interference with chemotherapy or other medications she’s on.

Regular gentle head massages with warm Brahmi oil might provide some relief, as they can promote relaxation and may pacify vata and pitta doshas, commonly aggravated in serious conditions. Limit to three times a week, observing any reaction.

Encouraging deep conscious breathing or pranayam, can aid in reducing anxiety and improve oxygenation in the body, engaging in short daily sessions, about 10-15 minutes, can be quite beneficial.

Lifestyle adjustments that allow more rest and create a calming environment are critical. Maintain regular sleep schedule and engage in light, comforting activities can helps in better managing stress levels.

Ensure consistent communication with her entire medical team, confirming that all integrative approaches align with her existing treatment plan. Integrating these habits cautiously alongside her principal medical care can potentially enhance her quality of life.
