Yes you can take But don’t stop allopathic medicine suddenly, first start this combination of ayurvedic medicine parallely with allopathic medicine, later after few weeks when you start feeling better you can consult your doctor to assess for reducing the dose, do not do on your own. Do pranayam lom -vilom bhastrika bhamri daily for 5-10mins twice Light massage on head with Brahmi oil Do Nasya with Brahmi grith 2 drops in both nostril once daily Have early dinner.

Brahmi (Bacopa monnieri) and Gotu Kola (Centella asiatica) are both valuable in Ayurveda for their calming and cognitive-enhancing properties. These herbs can support mental clarity and reduce stress, which may help in addressing sleep disturbances related to emotional problems. Ashwagandha (Withania somnifera) is also highly regarded for its adaptogenic properties, supporting the body’s ability to manage stress and promote relaxation.

If considering these herbs, it’s important to begin by assessing your unique dosha balance. Emotional disturbances and sleep issues often relate to an imbalance in Vata dosha, characterized by anxiety, restlessness and insomnia. Brahmi and Gotu Kola are both cooling and can calm Vata, while Ashwagandha, which is slightly warming, helps stabilize the nervous system and reduce cortisol levels, supporting a deeper sleep.

To implement, you can start with Brahmi and Ashwagandha. Brahmi can be taken as a churna (powder) 1/4 teaspoon mixed with warm water or milk before bed. Ashwagandha can be taken similarly, 1/2 teaspoon with warm milk for better absorption. Gotu Kola can be added as a supplementary option, with a 250 mg capsule, taken with your meals.

However, combining Ayurvedic herbs with Xanax needs caution. Gradual reduction of Xanax under medical supervision is crucial to avert any withdrawal symptoms. Ayurveda focuses on root cause, so addressing lifestyle factors is also key. Establishing a daily routine, aligned with natural rhythms, helps balance dosha.

Ensure meals are lighter in evening, with warm, cooked foods to support good digestion and reinforce Agni. Avoid stimulants, minimize screen time before bed, and practice yoga or meditation daily for holistic benefits. Connecting with a qualified Ayurvedic practitioner ensures these recommendations match your individual health needs.
