Drakshadi Vati Simple Diabetic patient It may contain sugar / raisins Can increase blood sugar Do not take continuously without doctor advice. Better check sugar levels and ask doctor before using.
HELLO, Drakshadi vatti is an Ayurvedic formulation commonly used for managing Pitta and Vata imbalance, especially in conditions like burning sensation, acidity, dizziness, weakness, and certain urianry or gastric issues Since you are asking specifically about use in a diabetic patient IS DRAKSHADI VATI SAFE FOR DIABETIC PATEINTS? It depends on the formulation it contains -draksha (grapes/raisins) -sugar base -other cooling pitta pacifying herbs Because Draksha and sugar are naturally sweet, they can -raise blood glucose levels -be unsuitable if diabetes is uncontrolled Therefore, it is NOT automatically safe for all diabetic patients, especially if -blood sugar is poorly controlled -the tablet contains added sugar -It is taken continuously without supervision CAN IT BE TAKEN CONTINOUSLY FOR VATA-PITTA IMBALANCE? Continous long term use should be done -after checking blood sugar regularly -with proper diet control In diabetes, long term sweet based formulations are generally avoided unless -they are specifically prepared sugar free -the diabetes is mild and well controlled WHEN MIGHT IT BE CONSIDERED? It may sometimes be used cautiously if -the patient has burning sensation , gastric irritation, dryness, or vata-pitta symptoms -blood sugar levels are stable -dose is small and monitored But it is not a general tonic for daily long term use for diabetic If you want we can start proper medications for diabetes kindly specifically tell THANK YOU

It is Safe for diabetics in controlled dose – no major risk of worsening sugar levels. ✓Recommended dose for diabetic patient 1 tablet twice daily after meals with plain water (do not exceed 2 tablets/day). Continue long-term (3–6 months or more) only if blood sugar remains stable. ✓Monitoring (must) Check fasting & postprandial sugar 2–3 times per week for first 2 weeks after starting. If FBS rises >10–15 mg/dL or any unusual spike then reduce to 1 tablet/day or stop & consult doctor. Regards Dr Gursimran Jeet Singh MD Panchakarma
Drakshadi vati has draksh that is raisins , and diabetics are not advised to take on daily basis, orelse sugar accumulates and with time sugar levels in blood will rise. For vatta pitta can take kamdudharas 1-0-1 after food with water. Or just yastimadhu churan 1tsp twice before food with water. Avoid spicy fried foods.
