How to treat Hashimoto’s thyroiditis & vaginal lichen sclerosis? Terrible weight gain no matter what I do or eat. Also brain fog, anxiety, lack of energy & focus. Terrible itching & vaginal fusion due to lichen sclerosis. Wish I didn’t have to take Armour Thyroid medicine 2x day.

This is a combined autoimmune + hormonal + inflammatory condition, so treatment has to be gradual, supportive, and consistent. Complete reversal is not immediate, but symptoms can be improved. First important point: Do not stop Armour Thyroid on your own. It should be continued and adjusted only based on reports. Focus on calming inflammation and improving metabolism: Avoid: Gluten-heavy, processed, excess sugar, very spicy foods Irregular meals and late nights Prefer: Warm, simple, anti-inflammatory diet Good fats (ghee, seeds), vegetables, light grains For weight + brain fog: Regular meal timing + good sleep is very important Gentle exercise (walking, yoga) daily At home: Amla (gooseberry) regularly for metabolism Coriander seed water helps reduce heat/inflammation For lichen sclerosis (local care): Keep area dry and clean Use pure coconut oil or a gentle herbal oil for soothing (external) Avoid harsh soaps or chemicals Kanchanar guggulu – 1 tablet twice daily after food Ashwagandha churna – ½ teaspoon at bedtime with warm milk Mahamanjishtadi kwath – 15 ml with equal water twice daily This helps in reducing inflammation, supporting thyroid balance, skin healing, and energy. Timeframe: Initial improvement may be seen in 4–6 weeks, but stable results need 2–3 months+. Also monitor thyroid levels regularly and manage stress (very important in autoimmune conditions).
