Retinitis pigmentosa can be cured

1 answers

Can retinitis pigmentisa be cured completely by ayurveda treatments what are the steps done in the treatments of retinitis pigmentosa how it is identified .

Retinitis Pigmentosa (RP) is a group of inherited eye disorders that cause gradual vision loss due to the degeneration of the retina. Currently, there is no known cure for RP in conventional medicine, but Ayurvedic treatments aim to manage the symptoms and potentially slow the progression of the disease by improving overall eye health and circulation. Ayurveda focuses on balancing the body's doshas, improving digestion, and detoxifying the body, as it believes that poor metabolic functioning can contribute to diseases like RP. Ayurvedic herbs like Amalaki, Bilva, Guduchi, and Brahmi are often used for their antioxidant and anti-inflammatory properties, which may help protect the retina and improve blood flow to the eyes. Additionally, Triphala is commonly used for eye health, as it helps in detoxification and strengthening vision. The treatment plan may also include Panchakarma (detoxification therapies) to cleanse the body, along with dietary adjustments that promote eye health, such as increasing the intake of vitamin A and beta-carotene-rich foods like carrots and leafy greens. RP is usually diagnosed through a combination of medical history, eye exams, and specialized tests like electroretinogram (ERG), fundus photography, and visual field tests, which assess the condition of the retina and the degree of vision loss. While Ayurveda can help manage symptoms and improve the quality of life, it is important to note that its ability to completely cure RP has not been scientifically proven, and it should be used in conjunction with regular medical care. Always consult with an Ayurvedic ophthalmologist before starting any treatment.

Why can't I look at a thing continually as it starts blurring after some time

Vision problems.. like I can't see objects clearly they appear like blurring or shaking Also I want my hair to grow fuller and thicker. During my teen age I had good hair but now they are loosing scalp is visible please help

It seems like you're experiencing a combination of vision issues and hair thinning, which could both be linked to underlying imbalances in your body according to Ayurveda. Vision problems, like blurring or shakiness, may be related to a disturbance in the Pitta dosha, which governs vision and the clarity of perception. To address this, herbs like Triphala, Amla, and Ashwagandha can be helpful for strengthening the eyes and supporting overall eye health. For your hair, hair thinning and visible scalp could be related to imbalances in both Pitta and Vata doshas, along with possible genetic factors. To support hair growth, nourishing the scalp with Ayurvedic oils such as Bhringraj oil, Amla oil, or Brahmi oil can help rejuvenate hair follicles. Internally, strengthening treatments with herbs like Ashwagandha, Shatavari, and Guduchi may improve hair health and reduce hair loss. You should also focus on a balanced diet with plenty of healthy fats (like ghee and sesame oil) and proteins, as well as stress reduction techniques like meditation, as stress can exacerbate both hair loss and vision problems.

Is their any treatment for lazy eye for 37yrs old and also for dry eyes. Having -jn cylindrical ans spherical

From an Ayurvedic perspective, addressing lazy eye (amblyopia) and dry eyes involves a holistic approach that balances the doshas and enhances overall eye health. For lazy eye, consider using Triphala, a traditional herbal formulation that supports vision; it can be taken in powder form with warm water before bed. Additionally, ghee (clarified butter) is beneficial for nourishing the eyes, either consumed daily or used as a medicated eye wash. Incorporating specific eye exercises, such as moving the eyes in various directions and focusing on distant objects, can strengthen eye muscles. Panchakarma therapies, including Nasyam (nasal herbal oil treatment) and Shirodhara (oil pouring on the forehead), may help detoxify and promote relaxation. For dry eyes, use soothing agents like rosewater or chamomile tea as eye drops to relieve dryness. Triphala can also be utilized as an eye wash to provide moisture and detoxify. Triphala ghee is used for a very effective treatment known as Netra tarpan. It’s crucial to maintain a diet rich in Vitamin A and omega-3 fatty acids through foods like carrots, leafy greens, and flaxseeds. Hydration is essential, so drink warm water and herbal teas throughout the day. Practicing eye yoga and pranayama can reduce strain and enhance relaxation. Consulting with an Ayurvedic practitioner will allow for personalized recommendations based on your specific constitution and imbalances, helping to improve your eye health and overall well-being.

Eye sight improvement

Eye sight no. Has been increasing. Due to usage of mobile and pc for work purposes. Suggest me remedy for cooling and cleansing effect of eyes. With general diet for eye sight improvement.thankful 🙏

To address the increasing number for your eyesight and promote eye health, Ayurveda offers several effective remedies and lifestyle changes that focus on cooling and cleansing the eyes. Regular usage of mobile devices and computers can lead to eye strain and discomfort, so it's essential to incorporate both dietary modifications and specific Ayurvedic treatments into your routine. Start with Triphala, an Ayurvedic herbal formulation that is beneficial for eye health. You can consume it in powder form (1 teaspoon) mixed with warm water before bedtime. Additionally, you may prepare an eye wash using rose water or cold chamomile tea to soothe and cool your eyes. Soaking a cotton pad in this solution and placing it over your closed eyes for about 10-15 minutes can provide immediate relief from strain and fatigue. In your diet, emphasize foods that are rich in beta-carotene and antioxidants, such as carrots, sweet potatoes, spinach, and kale. Include berries, citrus fruits, and nuts (especially almonds) that are high in Vitamin E and omega-3 fatty acids, which are crucial for maintaining eye health. Ghee (clarified butter) is also beneficial for improving vision; you can consume a teaspoon daily or use it in cooking. Make sure to take regular breaks when using screens by following the 20-20-20 rule: every 20 minutes, look at something 20 feet away for at least 20 seconds. This helps reduce eye strain. Hydration is key, so drink plenty of water throughout the day to keep your body and eyes well-hydrated.

After cataract surgery in both eyes my eyes are becoming tired and red with irritation

My eyes are turning red every night nd has burning sensation doctor says eyes don't have any problem may be you need to consult rheumatologist as in one eye I am having recueeing uveitis.does ayurveda has any solution for this.problw.

Recurring uveitis with redness and burning in the eyes, especially at night, may indicate an imbalance in Pitta dosha, which is responsible for inflammation and heat in the body. In Ayurveda, managing this condition involves cooling and anti-inflammatory therapies. I recommend using Triphala Ghrita for internal consumption, as it helps in reducing inflammation and supports eye health. Maha Triphala Ghrita can also be used as an eye drop under medical supervision to soothe and reduce redness. Additionally, taking Punarnava and Guduchi can help reduce systemic inflammation and balance Pitta. Avoid spicy, hot foods, and include cooling foods like cucumber, ghee, and leafy greens in your diet. It is essential to maintain blood sugar control to prevent aggravation of inflammatory conditions. Regular follow-up with both your Ayurvedic practitioner and ophthalmologist is advised for comprehensive care.

Why is my eyesight weakening.

From a few days, I'm seeing distanced people, things blurry. Could it be because of allergy. I got pimples cause of skin allergy last month.

Your recent experience of blurred vision and difficulty in seeing distant objects could be influenced by several factors, including allergies, especially if you have a history of skin allergies. Allergic reactions can lead to inflammation, which may affect your eyes and cause symptoms such as blurry vision, redness, or itching. In Ayurveda, this condition may be associated with an imbalance in the Pitta dosha, which governs vision and metabolism. To address your symptoms, it's important to first identify and manage any underlying allergies. Incorporating Triphala in your routine can help cleanse the body and may improve digestive health, which in turn can alleviate constipation. A balanced diet rich in fruits and vegetables, particularly those high in antioxidants like carrots, blueberries, and leafy greens, can support overall eye health. Additionally, you can use cold compresses on your eyes to reduce irritation and inflammation. Regularly practicing eye exercises—such as focusing on distant objects or palming—can also improve eye health. Staying well-hydrated and ensuring adequate fiber intake can help with your constipation problem, promoting regular bowel movements.

How to avoid Cataract in eyes?

After Cataract operations, can we use Eyedrops ? In my work Laptop work is 80%. My age 51. In October 2024 i was operated for both eyes ( Catarsct). Now my vision is clear 90%. I use spectacle (short vision).

After cataract surgery, it is generally advisable to use prescribed eye drops as instructed by your ophthalmologist. These drops are often essential for ensuring proper healing and preventing infection. Since your surgery in October 2024, it's good to hear that your vision has improved to 90%. However, your significant laptop use—up to 80% of your work—can contribute to eye strain and discomfort, even after surgery. In Ayurveda, the emphasis is on maintaining eye health through balanced lifestyle practices. Ensure you are using your eye drops as directed, especially if they are lubricating or anti-inflammatory in nature, to keep your eyes moist and comfortable. To further support your vision and reduce strain, consider taking regular breaks using the 20-20-20 rule: every 20 minutes, look at something 20 feet away for at least 20 seconds. Incorporating eyewash with triphala water or plain cold water can also be soothing for your eyes. Additionally, consuming foods rich in antioxidants, such as carrots, spinach, and blueberries, can help promote eye health. If you experience any discomfort, blurry vision, or other unusual symptoms, consult your ophthalmologist promptly. It’s essential to follow their guidance for post-operative care and any long-term eye health strategies.
