Doctor, I've had epididymo-orchitis for almost two months now, and nothing seems to help. At first, it was just a mild aching sensation, but now the pain and swelling have gotten worse, making it difficult to work or rest comfortably. I've already taken antibiotics twice, but they haven't worked, and both ultrasounds confirmed epididymo-orchitis. My job involves driving and regularly lifting heavy boxes, and I'm wondering if this is making my epididymo-orchitis worse. I also wear tight underwear often, and I've heard that might aggravate epididymo-orchitis symptoms. The pain definitely gets worse after sitting for long periods or after heavy lifting. Hot showers help temporarily, but relief doesn't last long. I'd like to try Ayurvedic treatment because I'm tired of medications that aren't effective. Could Ayurveda genuinely help with epididymo-orchitis? What specific Ayurvedic oils or herbal mixtures might quickly relieve the pain and swelling associated with epididymo-orchitis? Also, do I need to change my diet or lifestyle according to Ayurveda to speed up my recovery from epididymo-orchitis? Epididymitis is a medical condition where the Epididymis, a small, coiled tube at the back of the testicle that stores sperm, gets inflamed or swollen. Management - Varuna (Crataeva nurvala): This particular herb is usually used for managing urinary tract disorders and reducing the swelling and pain of Epididymitis. Kanchnar Guggulu: It is a traditional Ayurvedic remedy used for detoxification and to manage Epididymitis inflammation. Chandraprabha Vati: This is used for Ayurvedic urogenital treatments.
