With kidney function around 39% (likely Stage 3 CKD) along with diabetes, the main goals are: Control blood sugar strictly Protect remaining kidney function Reduce kidney workload Prevent swelling, high potassium, and further damage Diet & Lifestyle Plan Early Morning 1 glass lukewarm water 4–5 soaked methi seeds OR small piece of amla Breakfast Choose one: Vegetable poha (less salt) 2 idlis with coconut chutney Oats porridge 1–2 phulkas with vegetable Avoid: Bread-butter daily Processed cereals Excess milk products Mid-Morning Apple / guava / papaya (small portion) Avoid excess banana, chikoo, mango, grapes if sugar is high.
