I understand your discomfort—frequent urination with burning and lower back pain can feel very irritating and draining, especially when it affects daily energy. The good part is that in most cases like yours (1–4 weeks duration, no fever), this condition responds well with timely treatment and lifestyle correction. First, don’t ignore it—this usually indicates irritation or infection in the urinary tract, and it is treatable. From your symptoms, the most likely possibilities are mild urinary tract infection (Mutrakrichra in Ayurveda), urinary tract irritation due to dehydration or spicy diet, or early inflammation of the bladder/urinary passage. Less commonly, we also consider small urinary stones or early metabolic issues like sugar imbalance, but your short duration and symptom pattern fit more with infection or Pitta aggravation. Lower back pain here may be referred discomfort from urinary tract irritation rather than kidney disease, especially since there is no fever or nausea. In Ayurvedic terms, this looks like Pitta imbalance affecting the Mutravaha srotas (urinary channels), causing burning, urgency, and weakness. For treatment, I would suggest: 1. Chandraprabha Vati – 2 tablets twice daily after food with lukewarm water. Helps reduce burning, supports urinary tract healing, and improves strength. 2. Gokshuradi Guggulu – 2 tablets twice daily after meals. Very useful for urinary irritation, frequency, and back discomfort. 3. Varunadi Kwath – 15–20 ml with equal warm water twice daily before meals. Helps clear urinary tract inflammation and supports kidney–bladder function. 4. Coriander seed water (home remedy) – Soak 1 tsp coriander seeds overnight in water, boil lightly in morning, and drink once daily. Cooling and soothing for burning urination. Diet is very important here. Increase plain water intake. Take moong dal, rice, bottle gourd, cucumber, and coconut water. Avoid spicy food, tea/coffee, alcohol, pickles, and very sour items for now. Do not hold urine for long periods. If symptoms persist beyond 5–7 days, or if you develop fever, blood in urine, severe back pain, or worsening weakness, then urine routine test and ultrasound should be done immediately. With proper care, you should start feeling relief within 3–5 days and significant improvement in about 1–2 weeks. Stay consistent and don’t delay treatment if symptoms increase.
