I am really struggling with this horrible feeling of hyperacidity lately. Like, it feels like everything I eat, no matter if it's a light meal or a heavy dinner, just sets my stomach on fire. It started last month when I kinda switched my diet, trying to be healthy but yeah, it’s like I replaced one problem with another! I’ve been googling ayurvedic treatment for hyperacidity, and I came across a few things but nothing seems super effective yet and it's getting really frustrating. So, I’ve been waking up in the middle of the night, feeling this burning sensation, and that's really putting me off. I can feel it more after eating anything spicy or even after drinking soda. Trust me, I was never a fan of spicy food before, and now it’s like I can’t even enjoy a basic pasta dish without regretting it later! I remember one evening when I went out to dinner, had a cocktail with it too, and boy! It was a nightmare, like my friends were having a great time and I was just sitting there, trying not to scream from this discomfort! I’ve looked up some ayurvedic treatment for hyperacidity like taking water with lemon and some herbal teas but I am kinda lost. Like do you really have to drink these concoctions every day? I read that some spices might help, but I am not sure which ones work best. Last week I even tried ginger, and it wasn’t horrible but did it actually do anything, who knows? I’m anxious about this since I have some important events coming up, you know, and I want to enjoy food again without second-guessing every bite. Would love to hear about your personal experiences or any practices that you found have worked well for you, especially any specific ayurvedic treatment for hyperacidity that made a difference. I’m desperate for some real feedback here! That whole 'let food be your medicine' thing sounds great, but I need actual solutions that help me now! Thanks in advance to everyone, I hope someone can share some insights. How long does it usually take for these treatments to kick in? I don't wanna wait forever, especially when my cravings for food are building up and I just wanna feel normal again! The struggle is so real right now!

Introduce foods like mung beans and quinoa, which are light yet nourishing.

Herbs and Spices: A reliable herbal remedy is Amla (Indian gooseberry), which has dual properties of reducing acidity and improving digestion. Amla juice taken daily (avoid if it contradicts with any existing conditions!) aids in soothing the stomach lining. Cumin seeds and coriander can be boiled in water to prepare a tea that aids digestion.
