I am really confused about my diet after recently being diagnosed with kidney stones. The doctor mentioned some foods to avoid but didn’t go into details about everything. I’ve always loved bananas and they seem like such a healthy option, but can we eat banana in kidney stone situations? I read somewhere that they might actually be good for you, but not sure if I should be staying away entirely. I've been having these terrible pains and just trying to figure out what I can and can’t eat is stressing me out more, ugh! My friend said that eating bananas could even help with kidney health? But then I heard that too much potassium isn’t great for stones. Does that mean I should be cautious? I normally have a banana every morning for breakfast, but now I feel like I should swap them out with something else. Can we eat banana in kidney stone condition or is it better to avoid them? Would love any advice from those who have been there. Thanks!
