I am really confused about whether I can drink coconut water during fever. Last week, I came down with a bad fever, temp hit 102, and I felt super weak and dehydrated. I remembered hearing that coconut water is great for hydration and packed with electrolytes, but then I started second-guessing myself—like maybe it’s too rich? I drank some while I was sick, felt ok for a bit, but then a friend told me it could actually make things worse if the fever is high? I’ve had fever before, but this one really knocked me out. Didn’t have much appetite either, just sipping on water and trying to rest. But honestly, I just wanted to know, can I drink coconut water during fever without messing up my recovery? Maybe I shouldn't have mixed it with some lemon or ginger like I did; would that change anything? I keep reading conflicting info about coconut water’s effects, and it’s making me wonder if I should stick to plain water next time. Hoping to get some clarity here!
