Hello I‍‌‍‍‌‍‌‍‍‌ really get that feeling and it is very frustrating that these problems keep happening every time you stop your medications. But dont worry - we will take care of you. 😊

✅Understanding Your Condition (Ayurvedic View)

The signs you have vata imbalance in the colon with Agnimandya (weak digestive fire). Your symptoms are typical of Agnimandya (weak digestive fire) with vata imbalance in the colon.

It is a situation where medicines have been used for a long time to keep the symptoms at bay but after stopping, Ama (toxins) accumulates again → giving rise to: flatulence, abdominal distention irregular bowel movement hard stools drug dependence It implies that the fundamental cause of the problem is still there.

✅PROBABLE CAUSES

-Eating habits are irregular -You have a moderate intake of fiber but occasionally eat junk food that aggravates Vata Pitta - Stress and rapid lifestyle- Long-term gut inflammation due to faulty agni

✅AYURVEDIC PLAN OF TREATMENT

✅PANCHAKARMA THERAPY(To be performed under the supervision of a qualified Ayurvedic doctor)

Mridu Virechana (mild purgation) – Very good for chronic gastritis + constipation + Ama

Basti therapy (2–3 days) if constipation is severelong-standing

These aid in the reactivation of gut functioning and the reduction of medicine dependence.

✅INTERNAL MEDICATION

1. Triphala churna – 1 tsp at bedtime with warm waterIt facilitates bowel movementPurifies the colonPrevents recurrence

2. Agnitundi Vati 1 tablet twice daily after food (as per Vaidya’s advice)

3. Avipattikar Churna 1/2 tsp before mealsIt helps reducing acidity + gas

4. Takra Siddha Yoga (Buttermilk therapy)After lunch, take thin buttermilk with jeera + hing

✅DIET MODIFICATION

👉Foods to Include

Eating of foods that are warm and freshly cooked should be continued. Moong dal, rice, ghee

Let vegetables be boiled (bottle gourd, pumpkin, spinach, ridge gourd)

Eating fruits every day: papaya, banana, warm stewed apple

CCF tea (cumin + coriander + fennel)

❌Foods to Avoid Junk food Bakery products Cold refrigerated foods Excess tea/coffee Heavy, oily meals at night

Daily Routine (Supports Gut Reset) Wake up early, not later than 7 am

Warm water should be drank: 1–2 glasses Walking should be done for 20–30 minutes daily Natural urges should not be held Back to back eating should be avoided by eating at the same time every day

✅ HOME REMEDIES

–Warm water + ghee therapy At bedtime:1 tsp cow ghee + 1 cup warm water It is very useful in that it helps to soften the stool and to calm Vata.

–Hing + Jeera water 1/2 tsp roasted jeera A pinch of hingBoil in water → drink once daily Relieves gas and acidity.

You are definitely able to get over this by healing your Agni and balancing Vata. Ayurvedic interventions provide a long-term solution and not a temporary relief like that of medicines.

Wishing you a good health😊

Warm Regards Dr Snehal ‍‌‍‍‌‍‌‍‍‌Vidhate

HELLO,

You are having gastric problems + constipation for more than 6 months This means your digestive system is not working in a smooth, coordinated way

In Ayurveda, this happens due to

a) AGNI MANDYA (weak or irregular digestion) Your stomach fire becomes weak or unstable because of -eating junk food, spicy food, cold foods -irregular eating times -stress -long sitting -less water -improper sleep

When Agni becomes disturbed, food does to digest properly. This creates ama (toxins) which causes -gas -acidity -bloating -heaviness -burning -slow bowel movement

B) VATA IMBALANCE Vata controls movement in the body. when vata becomes high due to poor lifestyle, it leads to -dry stool -constipation -gas -irregular digestion -anxiety/ stress

C) PITTA IMBALANCE (excess heat) Pitta controls digestion. when pitta increases -burning in stomach -acidity -sour belching -gastric irritation So, both vata and pitta are disturbed

That is why medicines help you only temporarily, because the root cause is still present

TREATMENT GOALS -restore agni (digestive fire) -remove ama (toxins) -balance vata (for constipation) - calm Pitta (for acidity)

INTERNAL MEDICINES

A) FOR GASTRITIS/ ACIDITY

1) AVIPATTIKAR CHURNA= 1/2 tsp after meals with warm water for 8 weeks =reduces acidity, balances pitta without harming digestion

2) YASHTIMADHU POWDER= 1/2 tsp twice daily with lukewarm water after meals for 4 weeks =heals gastric lining, reduces burning

3) AMLA CAPSULES= 1 cap twice daily after meals for 3 months =coolant, antioxidant, repairs gut

4) KAMDUDHA RAS (PLAIN)= 1 tab twice daily after meals for 6 weeks = strong anti pitta, best for hyperacidity

B) FOR COSTIPATION + BLOATING

1) TRIPHALA CHURNA= 1 tsp at bedtime with warm water for 3 months =strengthens colon, natural laxative , detox

2) ISABGOL = 1 tbsp with warm water at night = increases stool bulk, smooth movement

3) CASTOR OIL= 1 tsp in warm milk once a week at bedtime for 4 weeks = cleanses colon, reduces dryness of stool

4) HINGWASTAKA CHURNA= 1/2 tsp before meals with warm water for 8 weeks = relieves gas, bloating, improves digestion

DIET -warm, fresh food -khichdi -moong dal soup -steamed veggies= bottle gourd, pumpkin, ridge gourd -ghee= 1 tsp daily -jeera water -buttermilk with cumin -papaya, soaked raisins -dates 2-3 daily -coconut water -mild spices like cumin, coriander, fennel

AVOID -spicy, oily, fried food -junk food, bakery items -cold drinks, curd at night -tea/coffee excess-tomatoes, pickles, vinegar -alcohol,smoking -long gaps between meals -excess raw vegetables

LIFESTYLE CHANGES -Eat in a calm mind= stress shuts down digestio -Regular meal times= irregular timing disturbs agni -Chew food properly= stomach irritation reduces -Avoid sleeping immediately after food= keep 2-3 hours gap -Drink warm water all day= improves digestion + bowel movement -Take 10-15 min walk after meals= helps gas + constipation -Sleep before 11 pm= late nights increase vata

YOGA ASANAS -vajrasana -pawanmuktasaa -bhujangasana -ardha matsyendrasana -cat cow pose -balasana

=These helps digestion, relieve gas, support bowel movement

PRANAYAM -Anulom vilom= balances vata +pitta -Bhramari= reduces stress -Shetali/sheetkari= useful if burning is high -Deep belly breathing= improves gut brain connection

DURATION= 10-15 min daily

HOME REMEDIES -CCF TEA= cumin + coriander + fennel= drink warm after meals =gas, acidity, consitpaiton relief

-Warm ghee water= 1 tsp ghee in warm water at night =lubricates colon, reduces dryness

-Ginger -lemon- honey= take before lunch =improves agni

-Fennel seeds aftermeals= 1/2 tsp chewing =redues acidity + bloating

Your problem can be cured, but needs consistent lifestyle changes, not just mediicnes Ayurveda treats root cause, so long term results are better Both vata and pitta needs balancing-> this requires diet, medications, yoga and routine Most patient improve within 4-8 weeks if they follow everything sincerely Complete relief usually comes within 8-12 weeks depending ons evert Avoid self medicating with strong laxatives or painkillers Be patient- chronic digestive issues take time to heal

DO FOLLOW

HOPE THIS MIGHT BE HELPFUL

THANK YOU

HELLO !!!

You’ve been having gastric issues and constipation for more than 6 months, and it gets better only when you take medicines but returns when you stop. This means your stomach and intestines are not working smoothly on their own. The digestion becomes slow, gas forms, the intestines tighten, and your motions become hard or incomplete.

Your food habits, stress, junk food, irregular meal timing, and long-term acidity medicines may also be causing the problem.

⚠️ Possible Causes Here are the common reasons your issue keeps coming back: Long-term acidity medicines reducing natural digestion Eating late at night Less water intake

Junk food / fried food 🍟 Stress or anxiety Irregular bowel habits Low stomach acid Weak gut motility Food intolerances (milk, spicy food, wheat etc.) Your stomach needs regular support for a few weeks so that it can work properly even without medicines.

🌿 Internal Medicines (Ayurvedic) (Start with Amapachana always) 1. Ama Pachana (first 7 days) Amapachana Vati – 2 tablets twice daily after food for 7 days 2. After 7 days (continue for 4–6 weeks) Avipattikar Churna – ½ teaspoon after dinner with warm water Hingvashtak Churna – ½ teaspoon with warm water before meals Triphala Churna – ½ teaspoon at bedtime with warm water Guduchi Ghan Vati – 1 tablet twice daily after meals

🫶 External Home Procedures Warm water sipping through the day Castor oil 1 teaspoon at night (once a week only) Hot water bag on stomach for 10 mins if gas is too much Gentle belly massage clockwise before sleep

🍲 Diet Plan Warm fresh meals only Moong dal, khichdi, rice, cooked vegetables Add 1 teaspoon ghee to lunch Papaya, soaked raisins at night Avoid cold drinks, curd at night, bakery items, fried food Eat at the same time daily

✔️ Do’s & ❌ Don’ts

Do’s Drink warm water Eat slowly Fix meal timings Walk 15 minutes after dinner

Don’ts Avoid skipping meals Avoid late-night eating Avoid processed/junk food Don’t lie down immediately after eating Don’t overuse acidity medicines

🧪 Investigations (if not done recently) Thyroid Profile (TSH) Vitamin B12 Vitamin D H. Pylori test CBC Stool routine (if constipation is severe)

💛

Your problem is completely manageable with the right digestion support. Once your Agni (digestive power) becomes strong again, your gas, constipation, and stomach discomfort will slowly settle even after stopping medicines. Stay consistent for a few weeks and you will see a clear change.

Warm regards, Dr. Karthika

Hello, Your long-standing gastric issues, bloating, acidity, and constipation — which improve with medicines but return when stopped — indicate Mandagni (slow digestion), Vata imbalance in the colon, and AMA (toxin accumulation) due to incomplete digestion. Dependence on medication suggests that the root causes are not corrected, especially irregular Agni and sluggish gut motility.

Your treatment will focus on strengthening digestion (Agni Deepana), restoring natural bowel movement (Vata Anulomana), healing the gut lining, and preventing reflux & gas formation.

🔎 Recommended Investigations (If not done in last 3–6 months) 1. H. pylori test (stool antigen or breath test) – very important for chronic gastritis. 2. Vitamin B12 & Vitamin D3 – low levels worsen acidity, fatigue & constipation. 3. Liver Function Test – to rule out slow liver metabolism affecting digestion. 4. Thyroid Profile (TSH, T3, T4) – hypothyroid often causes constipation. 5. Complete Blood Count & Iron profile – screens for mild anemia that slows digestion.

💊 Internal Medicines Phase 1 – 15 days (Agni Deepana + Gut Reset + Vata Anulomana) 1. Hingvashtaka Churna – ½ tsp with warm water after lunch & dinner 2. Avipattikar Churna – ½ tsp at bedtime with warm water (reduces acidity + improves motion) 3. Sutshekhar Ras (Plain) – 1 tablet twice daily before meals (balances Pitta & heals gastritis) 4. Triphala Ghrita – 1 tsp at bedtime with warm water (gentle bowel regulation without irritation)

Phase 2 – 45 days (Gut Strengthening + Motility Correction) 1. Kutajarishta – 2 tsp with equal water after lunch & dinner (heals intestinal lining) 2. Triphala Churna – ½ tsp at bedtime (mild laxative + gut cleanser, safe long-term) 3. Arogyavardhini Vati – 1 tablet twice daily after meals (improves liver + digestion) 4. Pippali Churna – ½ tsp with honey in morning (corrects Mandagni & reduces gas)

🌿 External & Supportive Therapies 1. Abhyanga (warm sesame oil massage) – 2–3 times weekly to relax Vata 2. Nabhi oiling – 3–4 drops of castor oil at bedtime for smooth motion 3. Hot water bag over abdomen for 10 mins after dinner – improves gut motility 4. Warm water sipping throughout the day, especially morning

🥗 Diet & Lifestyle Recommendations ❌ Avoid 1. Cold foods, refrigerated drinks, smoothies 2. Excess tea/coffee 3. Oily, deep-fried, and spicy foods 4. Wheat-based heavy foods at night 5. Eating late at night or skipping breakfast 6. Regular use of antacids or laxatives (weakens gut) ✅ Include 1. Warm, cooked, light meals – khichdi, dal, lauki, ridge gourd, soups 2.Cumin–coriander–fennel tea after lunch 3. 1 tsp cow ghee in lunch for lubrication of colon 4. Ginger + ajwain + black salt (a pinch) before meals 5. 5–7 soaked black raisins at night 6. Warm lemon water every morning 7. Probiotic foods: homemade curd (daytime only), buttermilk with roasted cumin 8. Papaya 3–4 times a week

🧘🏻‍♂️ Yoga & Pranayama Gentle Asanas Vajrasana (10 mins after meals) Pavanmuktasana Marjarasana (Cat–Cow) – improves gut movement Ardha Matsyendrasana Setu Bandhasana Pranayama Anulom Vilom – 10 minutes Bhramari – 5 minutes Sheetali – 2 minutes for acidity Kapalbhati – only if no acidity flare and BP normal

Sleep routine Sleep by 10:30 pm Light walk for 10 minutes after dinner Avoid screen for 1 hour before sleep

🕉️ Follow-up & Duration * You will notice reduced acidity and gas in 5–7 days * Constipation should improve within 10–15 days * Gut healing needs 6–8 weeks * Repeat tests after 6–8 weeks * Continue Rasayana/strengthening herbs for 2–3 months to prevent recurrence

✨ With steady Agni correction, Vata balance, and gut healing, your digestion will become stable without needing regular medicines. You will gradually feel lighter, energetic, and free from acidity/constipation.

With kind regards, Dr. Sumi MS(Ayu)

Your digestive discomfort and constipation seem to be a sign of underlying imbalances that require a deeper look. In Ayurveda, we often consider such persistent issues as an indication of weak Agni, or digestive fire, along with possible Vata and Pitta imbalances. Here’s a tailored plan to address these issues more holistically, rather than solely depending on medicines.

Focusing first on your Agni, consider starting your day with a glass of warm water with a teaspoon of freshly squeezed lemon juice and a pinch of ginger. This combination can help awaken the Agni and prepare your digestive system for the day. Consume meals at regular intervals without skipping, ensuring they are warm and freshly prepared, focusing on easily digestible foods like cooked vegetables, khichdi, and well-spiced stews.

Your evening meal should be lighter, and aim to finish eating at least 2-3 hours before bedtime, to give the digestive system a lighter load during restful periods. Avoid heavy, oily, or very spicy foods which can aggravate the digestive system. Incorporating mindful eating, chewing food thoroughly can also aid digestion significantly.

In terms of lifestyle, integrating gentle yoga and prāṇāyāma (breathing exercises) such as Nadi Shodhana or Anulom-Vilom can help balance Vata and enhance digestive health. Emphasize adequate hydration throughout the day, as constipation is often eased by simply drinking enough warm water.

Triphala at bedtime is highly recommendable for supporting regular bowel movements. Take a teaspoon of Triphala powder mixed with warm water before sleep to promote regularity and detoxification.

Be patient, as restoring balance may take time. If symptoms persist or worsen, it’s important to consult a healthcare professional to rule out other possible conditions. Each individual’s path to balance is unique, and attentive listening to your body’s needs is essential in this journey.
