Hello Thanks for sharing all the details. I can tell how tiring and emotionally draining this has been for you. Dealing with constant urges to urinate for 8 years is rough, but Ayurveda can still make a difference if we target the actual cause, not just the bladder itself. YOUR CONCERN You’re dealing with: – Always feeling like you need to urinate – Feeling like you haven’t fully emptied your bladder – Dribbling after you pee – Going to the bathroom like 5-6 times in just a few minutes – It gets worse when it’s cold or during your period – It gets better in warm sunlight – It messes with your sleep, travel, what you wear, and your everyday life – Doctors haven’t found anything structurally wrong This sounds like a classic bladder issue, not an infection or a stone. What Ayurveda Says: It looks like: Vata-Pitta imbalance in your urinary tract Your symptoms point to: 1.Urgency = Vata
2. Burning feeling/irritation=Pitta
3.Worse when it’s cold= Vata
4.Better when it’s warm = Vata
5.Worse during your period=Apana Vata
6.Feeling like you can’t empty= Apana Vata blockage In Ayurveda, this is known as: Mutraghata + Pittaja Mutrakrichra + Apana Vata dysfunction Basically, the nerves that control your bladder are super sensitive, so your bladder is sending false signals even when it’s not full. That’s why all the tests come back normal. What We Want to Achieve: – Soothe those bladder nerves – Make Apana Vata stronger – Help the lining of your urinary tract heal – Stop those false signals – Get your bladder back to holding a normal amount Ayurveda Plan: 1️⃣ Calm the nerves + bladder control 1. Chandraprabha Vati 2 tablets, twice a day after meals
2,Gokshuradi Guggulu 2 tablets, twice a day
3.Varunadi Kashayam 15 ml + equal warm water, twice a day before meal These should: – Help you empty your bladder better – Cut down on dribbling – Stop the urgency – Heal your urinary tract 2️⃣ For nerve-related urgency (the STAR player) 1.Ashwagandha Capsule 1 capsule, twice a day This chills out those overactive bladder nerves. 3️⃣ When it gets worse with your period: 1.Ashokarishta 15 ml, twice a day after meals This evens out Apana Vata and keeps period-related flare-ups from happening. HOME REMEDIES – Sit in the sun for 15–20 minutes every day – Only drink warm water – Stay away from AC and cold floors – Massage your lower belly and lower back with warm sesame oil every day – Do slow, deep breathing (10 minutes) DIET PLAN Avoid❌ Cold drinks, ice cream, raw salads, coffee, soda, tomatoes, vinegar Eat: ✔ Rice, ghee, cooked veggies, warm soups, coconut water Since this has been a nerve issue for 8 years, it’ll take at least 3 months of consistent care. Your bladder isn’t sick—it’s just too sensitive. We’re gonna calm down those nerves, not just hold in your urine This can get better. I’m here for you through this. Warm Regards Dr. Snehal Vidhate

FROM WHAT YOU DESCRIBE THIS LOOKS LIKE A CHRONIC VATA DISTURBANCE IN THE MUTRA VAHA SROTAS THE URINARY CHANNELS ESPECIALLY APANA VATA WHEN VATA BECOMES COLD IRRITABLE AND UNSTABLE IT CREATES FREQUENT URGE INCOMPLETE EMPTYING DRIBBLING AND THE FEELING THAT URINE IS STILL LEFT THIS IS STRONGLY SUPPORTED BY THE FACT THAT YOUR SYMPTOMS WORSEN IN COLD WEATHER AND DURING MENSTRUATION BOTH TIMES WHEN VATA NATURALLY INCREASES WHEN YOU ARE IN SUNLIGHT OR WARM WEATHER VATA CALMS AND URGENCY REDUCES WHICH IS A VERY IMPORTANT CLUE THE FEELING OF NOT EMPTYING COMPLETELY AND PASSING SMALL AMOUNTS REPEATEDLY CAN ALSO INDICATE PELVIC FLOOR SPASM OR BLADDER HYPERSENSITIVITY DISTRACTION WORSENING SYMPTOMS SHOWS THAT THE NERVOUS SYSTEM IS INVOLVED SO THIS IS NOT JUST A LOCAL BLADDER ISSUE BUT A NEURO VATA CONDITION LOW ENERGY DURING THE DAY SUGGESTS THAT YOUR OJAS AND OVERALL VITALITY HAVE REDUCED AFTER YEARS OF STRAIN THE BODY HAS BEEN IN A STATE OF ALERTNESS FOR TOO LONG YOU NEED A PLAN THAT WARMS CALMS AND STABILIZES VATA STRICTLY AVOID COLD FOOD REFRIGERATED ITEMS RAW SALADS AND EXCESS DRY FOOD TAKE WARM COOKED MEALS ADD A LITTLE GHEE TO YOUR FOOD SIP WARM WATER THROUGHOUT THE DAY KEEP YOUR LOWER ABDOMEN AND FEET WARM ALWAYS DO NOT SIT ON COLD SURFACES DAILY GENTLE ABDOMINAL OIL MASSAGE WITH WARM SESAME OIL FOLLOWED BY A HOT WATER BAG FOR TEN TO FIFTEEN MINUTES CAN HELP RELAX THE BLADDER REGION SIMPLE PELVIC FLOOR RELAXATION EXERCISES NOT ONLY KEGELS BUT ALSO CONSCIOUS RELAXATION ARE IMPORTANT BECAUSE SOMETIMES THE MUSCLES ARE OVER TIGHT NOT WEAK CERTAIN AYURVEDIC HERBS THAT CALM VATA AND SUPPORT THE URINARY SYSTEM MAY HELP BUT THEY MUST BE SELECTED AFTER PROPER CONSULTATION BECAUSE RANDOM MEDICINES WILL NOT WORK IN A LONG STANDING CASE LIKE YOURS PLEASE ALSO RULE OUT INTERSTITIAL CYSTITIS OR CHRONIC BLADDER INFLAMMATION IF NOT ALREADY DONE BECAUSE PERSISTENT SYMPTOMS NEED PROPER DIAGNOSIS

-You’ve been dealing with severe urgency for many years, and it’s understandable it’s affecting your life and energy. Your symptoms—urgency worse in cold, incomplete emptying, and multiple failed treatments—suggest a complex bladder problem, possibly involving the bladder muscles, nerves, or pelvic floor -Diagnosis : Mutraghata / Vata-Pitta dominant urinary disorder -Internal Medicine : 1)Chandraprabhavati – 2 tablets, twice daily after meals with warm water 2)Gokshura decoction – 15 ml, twice daily before meals 3)Punarnava mandoor – 2 tab with Luke warm water, once daily 2. External Therapy: Abhyanga (oil massage) with Mahanarayan oil, daily before bath, especially in cold weather Swedana (steam therapy) with warm steam of dashamoola or herbal decoction, 10–15 min, 3–4 times/week 3. Dietary Advice: Warm, easily digestible food; avoid cold, raw, and iced items Avoid excessive salt, pickles, and very dry food Drink warm water frequently 4. Lifestyle / Yoga: Avoid prolonged exposure to cold Gentle pelvic floor relaxation exercises Light sun exposure to improve circulation -Follow-up: Every 2 weeks to assess improvement

HELLO, Chronic urinary urgency with incomplete emptying and dribbling can be physically exhausting and emotionally distressing. Your symptoms suggests a condition similar to Mutrakrichraa (painful/difficult urination) and features of Mutraghata (urinary obstrcution/ retention) LIKELY DOSHA INVOLVEMENT VATA AGGRAVATION (especially Apana Vata) -urgency -feeling of incomplete voiding -dribbling -symptoms worse in cold weather -anxiety and disturbed sleep PITTA ASSOCIATION (during periods) -increased urgency during menstruation -heat reduces symptoms (suggesting vata dominance) This looks like Vata-dominant Apana Vata dysfunction with mild pitta involvement DIET -warm cooked foods -rice, wheat, oats -moong dal -warm milk with a pinch of nutmeg at night -ghee 1-2 tsp daily -stewed apples -pumpkin, bottle gourd -cumin, fennel, coriander water AVOID -cold drinks -raw salads -excess dry foods chips, crackers -cabbage, cauliflower -excess tea -sour curd at night -fasting Drink warm water only. Avoid chilled water INTERNAL MANAGEMENT 1) CHANDRAPRABHA VATI= 2 tabs twice daily after meals =Balances Vata in urinary tract, reduces urgency and dribbling 2) GOKSHURADI GUGGULU= 2 tabs twice daily after meals =strengthens bladder tone, improves incomplete emptying 3) PUNARNAVA MANDUR= 2 tabs twice daily after meals =reduces inflammation and pelvic congestion 4) SHATAVARI CHURNA= 1 tsp with warm milk at bedtime =especially helpful around menstruation, calms Pitta and nourishes urianry tract DAILY ROUTIN 1) OIL MASSAGE -warm sesame oil on lower abdomen and lower back daily -follow with warm bath -especially important in winter 2) GENTLE YOGA -baddha konasana -malasana -setu bandhasana -pelvic floor relaxation (NOT constant tightening) 3) PRANAYAM - Nadi sodhana -bhramari -avoid excessive kapalbhati PELVIC FLOOR BALANCE (very important) Your symptoms suggest -either overactive bladder -or pelvic floor spasm Many women unknowingly keep pelvic muscles tight Instead of kegels alone -practice pelvic relaxation -warm sitz baths -gentle squatting position while urinating SLEEP AND NERVOUS SYSTEM Since urgency increases with distraction and anxiety, nervous system involvement in likely AT NIGHT -warm milk + pinch nutmeg -1 tsp ghee in warm milk Avoid screens 1 hour before bed WHY COLD WEATHER WORSENS IT? Cold increases vata-> vata governs urination-> leads to -frequency -incomplete voiding -dribbling -anxiety Heat Reduces Vata-> symptoms improve in sunlight INVESTIGATIONS ADVICES -Uroflowmetry -Post void residual urine scan -pelvic floor physiotherapy evaluation EXPECTED IMPROVEMENT -Diet changes= 2-3 weeks -medications= 4-6 weeks -full stabilisation= 3-6 months Chronic urinary urgency often creates -fear of travel -social withdrawal -constant alertness This maintain vata aggravation Gentle nervous system calming is just as important as medications DO FOLLOW HOPE THIS MIGHT BE HELPFUL THANK YOU
