Firstly tell your bp readings for atleast 3 days, and the medicines you are taking at present, for atherosclerosis also. It will helps to start your treatment properly with proper dose.

At 79, be careful with herbs
Mukti Vati + Sarpagandha together can drop BP too much.
Do not increase dose.
Check BP 2–3 times daily
1 small garlic clove in morning (after food).
Drink warm water.
Avoid salty, fried food.
Walk slowly daily
