In Ayurveda, high blood pressure is understood as “Rakta Gata Vata”—a condition where Vata dosha becomes aggravated and disturbs the flow of blood, often along with Pitta imbalance (heat, stress, irritability). 1. Diet (Ahara) Prefer light, fresh, and sattvic food Include: leafy vegetables, bottle gourd, garlic, amla, pomegranate Reduce: salt, fried food, tea/coffee, spicy & processed food Drink warm water; avoid cold drinks 2. Lifestyle (Vihara) Sleep on time Daily walking (30 min) and mild yoga Practice Pranayama (Anulom Vilom, Bhramari) for calming Vata Avoid stress, anger, overthinking 3. Useful Ayurvedic Herbs Sarpagandha (Rauwolfia serpentina) – natural BP calming herb Arjuna (Terminalia arjuna) – strengthens heart Ashwagandha – reduces stress-induced hypertension Brahmi – calms mind 4. Simple Home Remedies 1 tsp garlic juice or 1–2 cloves daily Amla juice (10–20 ml) in morning Warm water with few drops of lemon 5. Stress Management Meditation (10–15 min daily) Oil massage (Abhyanga) with sesame oil to balance Vata

●What Ayurveda Says High blood pressure isn’t just a pressure in the bloodstream. It’s the result of mental stress, heart rate, and an imbalance of Vata, Pitta, and Kapha. Stress, insomnia, and fried/excessively salty foods Diet Mental anxiety and fear play a major role in increasing blood pressure. ●Supporting Drinks and Foods - Mango + Milk + Cardamom 1 cup mango juice After 1 hour - 1/2 cup warm milk • A pinch of cardamom + a pinch of nutmeg • 1 teaspoon ghee (if cholesterol is high, omit ghee) It soothes the heart, reduces stress, and calms the mind. ●Supporting drinks - Water Orange + Coconut Water (2 parts orange + 1 part coconut) -1 cup, 2-3 times a day. This provides electrolyte balance and gentle heart cooling. ●Supporting Food-Light Mung Bean Soup (Mung Bean Soup) + Coriander, Cumin, a pinch of Turmeric It lightens digestion and helps stabilize blood pressure. Watermelon + Cardamom + Coriander A pinch of cardamom and coriander on watermelon reduces sodium imbalance in the body due to its mild diuretic effect. ●Honey Water 1 teaspoon honey in lukewarm water + 5-10 drops apple cider vinegar in the morning on an empty stomach. This helps relax arteries and maintain balanced blood flow. Add the honey later; do not heat it. ●Ayurvedic Herbal Formula (Tea) Jatamansi - 2 parts Musta - 2 parts Tagar - 1 part 1/2 teaspoon in 1 cup hot water, covered for 10 minutes Consumable after lunch and dinner It calms the mind and regulates the heart rate. ●Yoga and Pranayama Practicing Anulom-Vilom Bhramari Shavasana (Bramari Shavasana) for 20-25 minutes daily reduces stress and automatically balances blood pressure. ●Normact tab 2 tab 2 times ●Arujnarisht 20 ml 2 times ●Liposem tab. 1 tab 3 times .

Hello, Managing high blood pressure naturally involves a combination of significant lifestyle adjustments and specific herbal support. Since you are a medical practitioner, you likely know the clinical importance of monitoring, but here is the perspective and protocol you requested. Ayurvedic View on Hypertension (Rakta Vata) In Ayurveda, high blood pressure is often viewed as an imbalance of Vata and Pitta affecting the Rakta Dhatu (blood tissue) and the circulatory channels (Srotas). Vata causes the narrowing and hardening of vessels, while Pitta increases the heat and force of the blood. Treatment focuses on calming the nervous system, cooling the blood, and ensuring smooth flow. Dashamoola Snehana: Regular self-massage (Abhyanga) with warm sesame oil to calm Vata. Dietary Shifts: Drastically reduce salt (Lavana) and sour (Amla) tastes. Incorporate garlic, bottle gourd (Lauki), and pomegranate. Pranayama: Daily practice of Shitali (cooling breath) and Anulom Vilom (alternate nostril breathing) for 15 minutes to reduce sympathetic nervous system activity. Sleep Hygiene: Ensure 7–8 hours of sound sleep, as Vata imbalance is highly sensitive to sleep deprivation. While these are traditional formulations, please monitor your readings closely. These should supplement, not abruptly replace, any existing allopathic protocols you are managing. Abhyapras: 1 teaspoon twice daily after food with warm water. This acts as a cardio-protective Rasayana. Cardosta Tablets: 1 to 2 tablets twice daily. This contains Sarpagandha and Arjuna, specifically formulated for blood pressure regulation. Arjunarishtam: 15 ml to 25 ml mixed with an equal quantity of lukewarm water, taken twice daily after meals. It strengthens the cardiac muscles and improves circulation. Ksheerabala 101 Avarti (Drops): 2 drops in each nostril (Pratimarsha Nasya) early in the morning to calm the Pitta-Vata axis in the head.

1.Sarpagandha vati 1 tab at night with water 2.Arjunarishta 20 ml with 20 ml water twice daily after meals Dietary Adjustments (Ahara) Reduce Salt Intake: This is the most critical factor. Avoid processed, packaged, and fried foods which are high in sodium. Heart-Healthy Foods: Include bottle gourd (Lauki), garlic, pomegranate, and leafy vegetables in your meals. Lifestyle & Stress Management (Vihara)** Pranayama: Practice Anulom Vilom (alternate nostril breathing) and Bhramari (humming bee breath) for 15 minutes daily to calm the nervous system. Sleep: Ensure 7–8 hours of sound sleep, as sleep deprivation significantly increases Vata imbalance and blood pressure. Abhyanga: Massage your body or just the soles of your feet with warm sesame oil before bed to lower stress. Physical Activity: Maintain a routine of 30 minutes of brisk walking or mild yoga daily. Morning Remedy: Drink Amla juice (10–20 ml) or consume 1–2 raw garlic cloves daily. Hydration: Drink warm water throughout the day; avoid cold drinks which can aggravate Vata. Lifestyle & Stress Management (Vihara) Pranayama: Practice Anulom Vilom (alternate nostril breathing) and Bhramari (humming bee breath) for 15 minutes daily to calm the nervous system.
