HELLO, Frequent urination with dark yellow, cloudy, foul smelling urine for >6 months in Ayurveda is usually linked with Mutravaha srotas dushti (disturbance of urinary channels). Namaste, Frequent urination with dark yellow, cloudy, or strong-smelling urine can sometimes be related to concentrated urine, bladder irritation, or imbalance in urinary metabolism. Drinking only 4 glasses of water daily may also lead to more concentrated urine. Simple measures that may help: Try to increase water intake gradually throughout the day to keep urine well diluted. Avoid excessive caffeine, very spicy foods, and artificial drinks, as they may irritate the bladder. Maintain regular meal timings and balanced digestion, as digestive imbalance can also influence urinary patterns. Include cooling and hydrating foods such as coconut water, cucumber, and fresh fruits if suitable. If the urine remains cloudy or foul-smelling for a long time, it is also advisable to do a urine test and consult a doctor to rule out hidden infection or other causes. Ayurvedic medicines sometimes used to support urinary health include: Chandraprabha Vati – traditionally used to support urinary system balance. Gokshuradi Guggulu – sometimes used to support bladder and urinary tract health. Consult me for more advice and suggestions on the above medicines.
