Diet Eat light, warm, easily digestible food: khichdi, dal, cooked vegetables, ghee, milk. Avoid fried, spicy, junk food, and cold drinks. Drink warm water frequently. The white coating on your tongue (Lepa) and the foul smell (Durgandha) from your mouth and stool are classic signs of high toxin levels in the body. ​Dhat and Weakness: In Ayurveda, the loss of vital essence (often referred to as Dhat) is frequently a consequence of poor nutrition absorption. Ashtachurnam A traditional powder containing eight potent herbs (including dried ginger and black pepper) to improve appetite and digest Ama. ​Dose: 1/2 to 1 teaspoon mixed with the first bolus of rice during lunch and dinner, or taken with warm water after meals. ​3. Hinguvachadi Gulika Excellent for addressing bloating, undigested food, and abdominal discomfort. ​Dose: 1 tablet twice daily after food with warm water. ​4. Jeerakarishtam A fermented liquid preparation based on Cumin, which is very effective for “Grahani” and improving the quality of the stool. ​Dose: 15 ml to 20 ml mixed with an equal amount of lukewarm water, twice daily after meals. ​Essential Lifestyle Adjustments : ​Tongue Scraping: Use a copper or steel tongue scraper every morning to remove the white coating.
