Doctors' responses
Involuntary urine leakage is usually due to weak bladder control or nerve weakness, and it can be improved with proper care. Avoid holding urine for long and also avoid very frequent urination “just in case”. Reduce tea, coffee, and very cold drinks. Start pelvic floor (Kegel) exercises daily – this is very important for control. Do them 2–3 times a day. Keep your routine regular and avoid constipation, as it can worsen the problem. At home, you can take warm water and include a little cumin (jeera) in diet. Keep the lower abdomen warm. Chandraprabha vati – 1 tablet twice daily after food Gokshuradi guggulu – 1 tablet twice daily after food These help in improving bladder strength and control. If leakage is severe or sudden onset, a proper check-up is needed to rule out prostate or nerve-related causes. Regards, Dr Raghuveer (Ayurvedacharya)
