आयुर्वेद के अनुसार पहले कब्ज और अब रोज़ सुबह 3 बजे loose motion होना यह अग्नि (पाचन शक्ति) की असंतुलित स्थिति, गैस तथा वात-पित्त विकार की ओर संकेत कर सकता है। रात के समय आंतों की अधिक सक्रियता के कारण ऐसा routine बन जाता है। क्या करें: रात का खाना हल्का और जल्दी लें (7–8 बजे तक)। बहुत ज्यादा चाय, कॉफी, मसालेदार, तला-भुना और बाहर का खाना कम करें। दही रात में न लें। सुबह खाली पेट ठंडा पानी पीने से बचें। दिन में पर्याप्त गुनगुना पानी लें। फायदेमंद चीजें: जीरा, सौंफ और धनिया का हल्का उबला पानी बेल, अनार या मूंग की खिचड़ी थोड़ी मात्रा में इसबगोल रात को गुनगुने पानी के साथ (यदि loose motion बहुत ज्यादा न हो) गैस कम करने के लिए: खाने के बाद थोड़ी अजवाइन और सौंफ लें। देर रात जागना और stress कम करें।

3:00 am loose motions with gas after long constipation may be due to Agnimandya, IBS type problem, irregular food timing, stress, excess tea, spicy or late-night food. Take Kutajghan Vati 2 tablets twice daily after food with warm water for 10 days. Bilwadi Churna 1/2 teaspoon twice daily after meals with lukewarm water. If gas is more: Hingvashtak Churna 1/4 teaspoon with first morsel of lunch and dinner. Diet: Avoid tea on empty stomach, curd at night, oily/spicy food, bakery items and late dinner. Take simple warm food, rice kanji, moong dal, banana and buttermilk with roasted jeera.

Hello, It sounds like your digestive system has swung from one extreme (constipation) to another (frequent loose motions), which in Ayurveda often suggests a Vata-Pitta imbalance in the colon. ​When chronic constipation is suddenly replaced by early morning urgency (the “3:00 AM rush”), it usually indicates that the “digestive fire” (Agni) is weak and there is accumulated Ama (toxins) causing irritation. ​ ​In Ayurveda, this is often seen as a form of Grahani (similar to IBS). Your body is trying to flush out waste, but the gut lining is sensitive and the rhythm is off. The 3:00 AM timing is significant as it’s the transition into the Vata period of the morning, where movement in the body is naturally stimulated. ​ ​Ayurveda medicines : 1. ​Dadhashtaka Choornam ​Dose: 3 grams (approx. 1 teaspoon) twice daily. ​How: Mix with honey or warm water, taken after food. It helps bind the stool and reduce gas. 2. ​Kutajaparpataadi Bati ​Dose: 1 to 2 tablets. ​How: Twice daily before food with warm water. This is excellent for stopping frequent loose motions and soothing the intestinal lining. ​3. Abhayarishtam ​Dose: 15 ml to 20 ml. ​How: Mix with an equal amount of lukewarm water and take after lunch. While often used for constipation, in small doses it helps regulate the downward movement of gas and prevents “rebound” issues. ​Avoid Raw salads, curd at night, spicy pickles, and caffeine. ​Include Freshly prepared buttermilk (Takra) seasoned with a pinch of roasted cumin powder and ginger. This is considered the best “medicine” for this specific condition. ​Drink water boiled with dry ginger (Sunthi) throughout the day to kindle your digestive fire.
