HELLO, If your scans are clear, the root cause is most likely functional or hormonal, not structural. This is why we need to address: Hormonal imbalance Diet and lifestyle issues Stress and emotional health

For this, I am suggesting an effective combination of medication, along with dietary and lifestyle recommendations.

Rx. Sitopaladi Churna (50 gm) + Praval Pishti (5 gm) – Mix well and take ½ teaspoon with honey twice daily.

Chandraprabha Vati – 1 tablet twice daily after meals with lukewarm water.

Sootshekhar Ras – 1 tablet twice daily after meals.

Ashokarishta – 20 ml mixed with an equal amount of water, twice daily after meals.

Dietary Recommendations Include:

Pomegranate, amla, coconut water, bottle gourd, and coriander.

Wheat porridge, moong dal soup, rice, and moderate amounts of ghee.

Avoid:

Spicy, fried, sour, fermented, and overly salty foods.

Cold and packaged foods.

Lifestyle Tips Avoid excessive physical exertion during periods.

Practice gentle yoga and pranayama, especially Sheetali and Anulom Vilom.

Maintain a regular sleep schedule and manage stress effectively.

Heavy bleeding during periods, medically known as menorrhagia, combined with large clots can be quite challenging and distressing. Even if your ultrasounds have shown no identifiable abnormalities, Ayurveda recognizes that imbalances at the subtle level can manifest in such symptoms. In Ayurveda, this condition may be associated with imbalances in the doshas, particularly Vata and Pitta, affecting the female reproductive system (Artava Dhatu).

Given your experience, and the lack of findings in allopathy and homeopathy, some key factors to consider include diet, lifestyle, and stress levels. An excessive consumption of spicy, sour, or processed foods can aggravate Pitta, hence increasing heat and bleeding tendency. Instead, aim to incorporate cooling and grounding foods. Start your day with a glass of warm water infused with a tsp of aloe vera juice; it’s soothing and helps balance Pitta.

Focus on cooked meals that include green leafy vegetables, whole grains like rice, and lentils. Favor sweet, bitter, and astringent tastes, which are cooling and stabilize imbalances. Fresh coconut water can also be beneficial as it’s naturally cooling and helps reduce excessive heat and bleeding.

Beyond diet, regular Abhyanga, or oil massage with cooling oils like sandalwood or coconut, can help stabilize Vata, promoting overall balance. Practicing pranayama (breathing exercises), with emphasis on Chandra Bhedana (left nostril breathing) can additionally support calming Pitta and grounding Vata.

However, from what you describe, seeking the guidance of an experienced Ayurvedic practitioner is critical for a personalized assessment and tailor-made remedies. It’s crucial not to delay consulting with a healthcare provider if the situation worsens, as they can provide immediate interventions. Your safety remains of utmost priority, balancing Ayurveda’s supportive role with conventional care when required.
