Mr. Bimalendu Nath

I am 57. Wt 63 Kg. Blood Gr : AB+, Height 5-3". I have a schwanoma (benign) under right parotid since 2016. I am on Homoeo medicine. Had some initial improvement. But for last couple of years no improvement , no shrinkage in shape. Second. my phallus becomes painful whenever in the early morning I feel arousal / stiffness before urination. But after urination no pain. Thirdly, I am a Diabetic & Hypertnsive patient for nearly 18-19 years. These days, I can barely take any food. Typical loose motion a no of times. Take somehow, only a meal (light and less) a day. Need to get over the problem. Got PSA done to rule out any prostrate cancer . Found negative. Got whole body check up. No abnormality found. Need your help and suggestion.

Given the symptoms you’ve described, let’s look at this from an Ayurvedic perspective. The presence of a schwannoma and issues like painful arousal may suggest an imbalance in your Vata dosha, potentially affecting the nervous system and causing stagnation in tissue (Mamsa dhatu). Your diabetes, hypertension, and digestion issues indicate an imbalance in both Pitta and Kapha doshas, disturbing metabolism and agni (digestive fire).

Firstly, it’s crucial to address the schwannoma with a gentle approach since it’s been consistent without recent changes. While Ayurveda won’t replace the medical treatments, supporting your body’s natural balance might help. Consider taking Ashwagandha, which is known for its Vata balancing and nourishing properties. You can take 1-2 grams with warm water or milk twice a day, after meals.

Secondly, managing morning pain might require improving circulation, possibly enhanced by light exercise like early morning walking or yoga, specifically poses that support pelvic health, such as the butterfly pose (Baddha Konasana) and child’s pose (Balasana).

For your digestive issues, include fresh ginger tea before meals to stimulate agni. Boil a piece of ginger in water, the sip slowly — this can help regulate the loose motions. Also, maintain a light, warm, and easily digestible diet, focusing on foods like rice, moong dal (split mung beans), and cooked vegetables. Avoid raw, heavy or cold foods that can aggravate Vata and unsettle your digestion further.

Lastly, your diabetes and hypertension need regular monitoring and consultation with healthcare professionals. In Ayurveda, fenugreek seeds and bitter gourd juice are traditionally recommended for diabetes management. For hypertension, reduce salt intake, increase potassium-rich foods — and practice mindfulness or meditation, daily, to calm the mind.

Bear in mind; these Ayurvedic recommendations are complementary. Continue monitoring your health with your primary healthcare provider, and reach out immediately if any symptoms become severe.
