Helo Amjad, Assuming that you have gotten an eye examination done from an ophthalmologist to rule out anything severe. To manage dry eyes and retinal health affected by diabetes, you can follow this Ayurvedic approach. Use Triphala eye wash daily by soaking Triphala churna in water overnight and rinsing your eyes with the strained water. Apply 2 drops of Anu Taila nasally each morning to help improve eye moisture. Take Triphala Ghrita (1 tsp) with warm water on empty stomach to nourish the eyes and Amalaki Rasayana (1 tsp) for retinal protection. Add Shatavari churna (1 tsp) with warm milk at night to balance moisture. Practice eye exercises like palming and focusing on objects. Including cow’s ghee (1 tsp) in your daily diet will help with lubrication. Continue managing your blood sugar levels as part of your overall treatment. Also practice walking everyday for 45-60 mins which will help manage your sugar levels. Avoid excessive screen time.

It appears you are experiencing dry eye issues, along with concerns about your retina due to diabetes, as well as managing an enlarged prostate and slightly elevated creatinine levels. To address your dry eyes and support overall eye health, I recommend considering specific Ayurvedic medications. Formulations such as Gandhak Rasayana and Chandraprabha Vati can be beneficial for managing diabetic complications and promoting eye health. Additionally, Triphala is known for its detoxifying properties and can support overall vitality, while Amlaki (Emblica officinalis) is particularly useful for enhancing vision and providing antioxidant support to the eyes. For lubrication, Madhukadi eye drops, which contain honey and herbal extracts, can help alleviate dryness and improve moisture in the eyes.Since you are also managing diabetes and elevated creatinine levels, it’s crucial to continue monitoring your blood sugar levels and consult with a healthcare professional regarding your kidney health and prostate condition. If you could provide more details about your current medications and any specific symptoms, I can further tailor the recommendations to your needs.

Dry eyes and diabetic retinopathy are quite tricky, but we can definitely look at them through the lens of Ayurveda. First things first, managing blood sugar is crucial and you’re already on the right track with that. For your dry eyes, we need to consider the role of Vata dosha. See, Vata imbalances can lead to dryness, hence you’re noticing it in your eyes.

Start by considering your diet. Foods that are grounding and nourishing can really help balance Vata. Think warm, cooked meals - like stews or soups with ingredients like sweet potatoes, carrots, and ghee. Avoid too much caffeine or cold, raw foods.

Now, about those eyes specifically. Triphala is an amazing Ayurvedic remedy. You can get it in powder or tablet form. Washing your eyes with a triphala eyewash can be quite soothing. You just need to soak the powder in water overnight, filter it in the morning and gently use it as an eyewash. But do consult an Ayurvedic practitioner for precise instructions and to ensure it doesn’t interfere with any other treatments you are undergoing.

Another thing to add for moisture is herbal ghee. Consider Netra Tarpana, where medicated ghee is applied to your eyes. It’s rejuvenating but not something you should try alone at first - seek guidance from a skilled practitioner for this.

Include more practices that bring calmness to your day. Managing stress plays a huge role in how your body handles conditions like these. Meditation, gentle yoga, or even simple deep breathing exercises can be incredibly beneficial.

Before starting any new treatments, have a chat with your healthcare provider to ensure compatibility with your current regimen, especially since diabetic retinopathy could demand specific medical attention. Balancing natural treatments with medical advice is key, so you can protect your eyes holistically and stay safe!
