I am really confused about my situation right now. A couple of months ago, I found out from my doctor that I have fatty liver, which is super scary, right? They told me to watch my diet and stuff, but honestly, I’m trying to figure out what foods are actually good for me. Like, I heard some people say that carbs are bad, but others keep talking about sweet potatoes. So, I’m wondering, is sweet potato good for fatty liver? I've been eating them more often because they come up in a lot of healthy recipes, but I just don’t know if I’m doing the right thing. I mean, they taste great and are filling, but I read that some carbs might not be good. Does eating sweet potato impact fatty liver positively or negatively? I don’t want to make things worse, you know?! I would really appreciate some clarity on if sweet potatoes can actually be considered good for fatty liver management, or if I should just avoid them altogether. Thanks!

Consider preparing them by steaming or roasting. Avoid excessive butter or sugar, these counteract their nutritional benefit.
