At 43, experiencing bloating, low energy, acidity, and throat discomfort could indicate digestive imbalance, possibly related to your Pitta and Vata doshas in Ayurveda. To help manage these symptoms, consider eating lighter, warm meals like soups or kichari, especially for dinner, to aid digestion. Incorporating digestive spices such as cumin, ginger, and coriander into meals can also support better digestion. Avoid drinking too much water during meals and try warm water with fennel or cumin seeds to reduce bloating. Light exercises like walking or yoga can improve circulation and digestion, while a small amount of aloe vera juice or turmeric in warm water may soothe acidity. If symptoms persist, consulting an Ayurvedic practitioner or healthcare provider can help create a personalized plan.

Sounds like you’re dealing with a mix of symptoms that could point to digestive imbalances in Ayurveda. Bloating, heaviness in the chest, and acidity might be signs of vata-pitta imbalance, with a possibly sluggish agni, your digestive fire. First off, let’s talk about your meals. Eating two rotis for lunch and skipping or having minimal dinner isn’t ideal for maintaining digestive balance. Your body might be missing out on essential nutrients and energy sources, which could be why you’re feeling low on energy, especially when idle.

Think about including veggies, like cooked greens or seasonal veggies with your rotis – they help with digestion and provide fiber. Because you’re sensitive to acidity, it’d be wise to avoid super spicy or sour foods. Instead, go for mild spices like cumin, coriander, and fennel, which are known for easing digestion.

The water thing – make sure you’re sipping on warm water throughout the day. This can aid digestion and soothe that blockage sensation in your throat. Cold drinks can worsen vata issues, so steer clear of iced beverages for now.

To combat heaviness and bloating, try trikatu churna, a classic Ayurvedic formulation, half teaspoon with a bit of honey, before lunch. It stimulates digestion without agitating pitta. As for feeling heavy in the chest, it might be because of ama (toxins). A decoction of ginger and tulsi tea can help flush out ama and relieve respiratory discomfort.

When you plan meals, aim for regularity. Your body thrives on routine, and scheduled meals can help kindle your agni better. If feeling acidity especially gets frequent or severe, consulting a healthcare provider for a thorough examination is crucial.

Lastly, find some time for pranayama practices, deep breathing can calm the mind and rebalance energies. Even just 10 mins a day of nadi shodhana (alternate nostril breathing) can work wonders. Remember, it’s about making small, sustainable shifts. Let me know if you have any more queries or need clarity on anything!
