I am really confused about something that's been on my mind. For the last year, I’ve been trying to lose weight, and honestly, it feels like I’ve tried everything—crazy diets, intense cardio, you name it. Last month, I attended one of those hot yoga classes, and I felt like I sweated out a ton of toxins (or something like that). But after the class, I just kinda felt really sore instead of lighter. I’ve also been dealing with stress constantly, which doesn’t help, right? I read yoga is good for stress relief too, but I don’t know if I should expect it to help with calorie burning specifically. I mean, can yoga help in weight loss or is it just about mindfulness? Didn’t want to dive back into a strict routine without having a solid grasp on this.
