I am struggling to manage my diabetes and have heard a lot about the benefits of lauki. Recently, I started incorporating lauki in my meals, like making lauki soup and stir-frying it with spices. It seemed pretty healthy at first! But now I’m kinda unsure if is lauki good for diabetes. My blood sugar levels have been fluctuating a bit, and I'm just worried. I’m trying to eat more veggies and stay away from carbs, but sometimes I’m just craving carbs lol. We had a family dinner the other day, and my cousin mentioned that lauki is supposed to be great for regulating sugar levels, which felt like a relief to hear because I need something to help with these spikes. But then, I thought, is lauki really that effective? I read some articles, and they mention its low glycemic index, but then I wonder, can I rely on it? Anyone here with experience? Like, how do you even cook lauki right to make the most of it? Should I be eating it every day or like once a week or something? I just wanna make sure I’m doing the best for my health!! I would love any tips or personal stories about using lauki when managing diabetes. Just trying to figure it all out!!!
