सर्जरी के बाद त्वचा के हाइपरपिग्मेंटेशन के लिए आयुर्वेदिक सलाह की तलाश - #51885
Question text to translate: Hello Doctors, I am a 60-year-old male living in California. I worked as a truck driver, and five years ago I had a sunburn on my nose, which caused the skin on my nose and parts of my cheeks to turn dark, like blemishes. Upon consulting a dermatologist, he diagnosed it as hyperpigmentation and melasma. In 2021, I received a couple of chemical peels and skin care products, which helped reduce and eliminate my pigmentation. I was advised to use several creams and to apply sunscreen regularly, which I gradually stopped. Since last summer, my nose has been experiencing hyperpigmentation again, and it is gradually worsening. On December 15, 2025, about three months ago, I underwent bariatric surgery and lost 15 kilos. Now, my face has dark patches resembling blemishes and hyperpigmentation on my nose and cheeks. I believe that rapid weight loss may have affected my liver and gut, potentially accelerating the pigmentation process. It might be related to some gut issues. Although I eat well and have no other health problems, my blood tests two weeks ago showed that my protein levels — including vitamin D, iron, vitamin C, B vitamins, etc. — as well as my liver function, were all within normal ranges with no concerns. I have decided to try Ayurvedic treatment this time. For the past 10 days, I have been using aloe vera gel, washing my face with yogurt, applying sunscreen, and using Kumkumadi Oil (Kesar) from Kerala Ayurveda, which my friend gave me. Additionally, every third day, I apply a mask made of curd, Mulethi, and Alum (Fitkari) white powder in a 4:1 ratio for 20 minutes. After further online research, I plan to order the following as part of my treatment. - MAHARISHI AURVEDA KUMKUMADI TAILAM — 2 bottles - BIOMUNI HARD WATER FACEWASH - 2 tubes - Ayurveda MAHMANJISHTHADI KWATH (PRAVAHI) - 2 bottles - Kerala Ayurveda KHADIRARISHTA - 2 bottles - Himalaya Neem Tablets - 2 bottles of 60 tablets each - Himalaya Triphala Tablets - 2 bottles of 60 tablets each - I already have a sunscreen, "ELTA MD (SKINCARE) UV CLEAR." Please provide a recommendation. I would appreciate it if you could review the above plan and share your expert & professional opinion. Specifically, I am concerned and would be grateful if you could inform me: • Whether the proposed medications and remedies are appropriate • If any of them may be too strong or ineffective or unnecessary • The recommended dosage for internal medications • The correct way to apply the external treatments Please advise on the most suitable treatment options for my condition. Thank you for your time and guidance. Best Regards, Pawan Joshi

Firstly reduce too sun exposure. You can use cotton face masks to cover your face, avoid black ones. Don’t over use sunscreen, instead apply aleovera gel. Avoid spicy, sour, Citrus , fried, no milk and fruits together (milkshakes) , curd, cold and hot food together. Try this daily 1. Yashti Madhu Taila + Kumkumadi Taila mix and apply on face for half hour. 2. Manjishtadi Churna make a paste and apply over hyper pigmented area until dries, later wash with warm water. 3. Mahanmanjishtadi Kwath 10ml -10ml -10ml with 10ml water after food For nearly one month, and let me know about results.
