Ayurveda ke hisaab se 12–14 ghante neend aur din me neend aana Tandra / Kapha vriddhi aur Agni-mandya ka lakshan ho sakta hai. Vata prakriti me bhi agar Kapha badh jaye to heaviness aur sleepiness badh sakti hai. ----Advice: -Din me sona avoid karein. -Subah jaldi uthkar 20–30 min walk/Surya namaskar karein. -Heavy, oily, sweet, cold food, curd, fried food aur late dinner avoid karein. -Raat ka bhojan halka rakhein—moong dal/vegetable soup/khichdi. -Subah garam pani me thoda dry ginger/jeera-ajwain water le sakte hain. -----Rx 1) Trikatu Churna – 1 g BD after food with honey/warm water 2) Chitrakadi Vati – 1 tab BD after food with warm water 3) Anu Taila Nasya – 2 drops each nostril in morning, after mild steam 4) Udvartana with Triphala/Yava churna – 10 min before bath, 3–4 days/week ----- follow up after 15 days

Excessive daytime sleepiness and oversleeping in Vata prakruti is often related to weak digestion, mental fatigue, irregular routine, stress, or aggravated Kapha blocking Vata. In Ayurveda, the goal is to improve Agni (digestion), energy flow, and daily discipline. Wake up early daily, preferably before 6:30 AM. Avoid sleeping during daytime. Take light, warm, freshly cooked food; avoid heavy, oily, cold, and junk foods. Drink warm water with a little dry ginger in the morning. Do regular exercise, brisk walking, Surya Namaskar, or yoga daily. Practice Pranayama like Anulom-Vilom and Bhastrika for mental freshness. Avoid overeating and late-night meals. Reduce excessive screen time and mental stress. Helpful Support: Ashwagandha or Brahmi may help improve mental energy and balance Vata. Trikatu churna in small quantity before meals can improve sluggish digestion (only if suitable for you).
