In a normal-weight person, if taken in proper dose with good digestion, it usually improves strength, stamina and sleep rather than causing excessive weight gain. —Avoid or use carefully in Kapha prakriti, obesity, mandāgni, heaviness, high cholesterol tendency, loose motions or ama symptoms.
