Yes, Triphala Ghrita may help in diabetes associated with constipation, eye strain, dryness, weak digestion, and pitta-vata imbalance, but because it contains ghrita, it should be used cautiously in diabetes and only in small doses if agni is weak or constipation is present. It is not the main medicine for sugar control. For fasting 145 mg/dL and PP 225 mg/dL with 15 years diabetes Nisha Amalaki 1 tsp twice daily before food with lukewarm water. Chandraprabha Vati 2 tablets twice daily after food. Gudmar capsule 500 mg 1 capsule twice daily before food. Triphala Churna 1 tsp at bedtime with warm water if constipation is present. Diet Avoid sugar, bakery items, cool drinks, white rice excess, and late-night meals. Use barley, millets, green gram, methi, karela, and amla regularly. Daily walking 45 minutes.
